Just A Little Note 32

Hi! Tina and I spent the weekend helping Angie relocate to San Diego. Angie is now in France for another U.S. Cycling team competition. Today I'm playing along with the PTI Make It Monday challenge where the theme is to "Mask a Sentiment".

I created a card featuring a masked sentiment from the PTI Floral Sketches stamp set with beautiful blossoms and foliage from the PTI Gran's Garden stamp set.

I Love you 31

Hi! Today I'm joining along with the PTI Make It Monday challenge where Stephanie is challenging us to create a card featuring different types of papers. Here's my interpretation:

I created a Valentine's day card for my dear daughter Angie featuring a combination of the following types of papers: a page removed from a dictionary for the background, pink mulberry paper, vellum paper for the embossed layer of the butterfly as well as "regular" cardstock. The butterfly was stamped using one of the pretty images from the PTI Life is Beautiful stamp set and the sentiment is from the PTI Boutique Borders: Love Mini stamp set.

It's that time of year again for the 30 paintings in 30 days challenge. Day 1 Today, I have a 12" x 12" canvas featuring oil painted roses that was inspired by a lesson courtesy of Oleg on YouTube:

Hi there! Hope you had a great weekend! Today I'm joining along with the PTI Make It Monday challenge where the challenge is to create a stenciled water colored background. 

I created a water colored background piece behind the focal point using a stencil from my stash. For the focal point, I water colored a pretty blossom and leaves from the Doodlie-do set:

I've also have a bouquet of oil painted roses to share inspired by Nancy Medina. I painted this on a 12" x 12" canvas.

a note to my dear friend 22

Hi Everyone! Today I'm featuring this card on the Poppystamps blog. If you have a chance, please stop by! I'm sharing this card featuring  fun dies from the New Mini Release including the Atessa Collage and Stitched Butterfly Trio dies.

I created a clean and simple card. For the background, I used the Atessa Collage die to cut a piece of white cardstock then layered it on top of a piece of green cardstock:

I stamped one of the many sentiments from the Friends and Flowers stamp set then embellished with a layered stitched butterfly that was die cut using a couple different sized Stitched Butterfly Trio dies:

In celebration of my dear sister Tina's birthday last week, Tina and I went hiking in the Superstition Mountains located approximately 45 minutes from my home. Lots of beautiful wild poppies in bloom:

birthday wishes 19

Hi there! Today I have a few projects to share. This month we are celebrating my dear son Jerry's 29th birthday. Jerry's birthday card features a printed photo of an airplane that Jerry is currently flying for fun. His hobby is aerobatic flying and the his first competition will be this coming April.

Jerry currently lives in San Francisco with his sweet wife April. Last week he came to town for a few days :)
