Christmas Blessings 15

Mona Pendleton | Tuesday, November 7, 2017 @ 7:53 PM | , ,

Hi there! Today I'm joining along with the PTI Make It Monday challenge where the challenge is to create a Holiday Photo Card. I made a holiday photo card featuring a photo of sweet Connor that was taken years ago that I had on hand :)
To create this card, I applied ink to an embossing folder then ran it through the die cutting machine. I framed Connor with a die cut kraft photo frame then embellished with a little blossom from Brilliant Baubles stamp set combined with a heat embossed sentiment from the Signature Christmas stamp set:

Season's GREETINGS 39

Mona Pendleton | Sunday, November 8, 2015 @ 2:29 AM | , , ,

Hi there! I hope you are enjoying the weekend as much as I am! Today I have a collection of rather clean and simple Christmas cards to share:
As you can see, they are all VERY similar (a tag with a Poinsettia, stamped sentiment, a button and twine)

Up close, you can see the detail of the beautiful Mulberry Poinsettia:

BEST wishes 39

Mona Pendleton | Friday, August 28, 2015 @ 11:45 PM | , ,

Hi there! I hope you are having a great weekend! Today I have a rather clean and simple card to share featuring a beautiful dream catcher. My sweet daughter Angie loves dream catchers so I surprised her with this card :)
To create this card, I embossed a piece of water color paper then added pink and blue inks from my stash then embellished with the Spellbinders die cut dream catcher. The sentiment is from PTI.

Thank you 37

Mona Pendleton | Friday, March 13, 2015 @ 1:58 AM | ,

Hi there! It's been awhile since I've played along with the PTI Make It Monday challenge so I thought I would take the time to do so. This week's challenge is all about a fun technique referred to as Watercolor Smooshing.
Here's my take on the challenge:
I combined a couple of my all time favorite PTI stamps sets: Round & Round and Sending You. I completed it with a trio of sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Happy spring 32

Mona Pendleton | Thursday, March 12, 2015 @ 7:38 AM | ,

Hi there! It's that time of year again when many of us have spring fever? I know I have been bitten by the bug ~ have you? The Major League Baseball has kicked off spring training baseball games here in Phoenix, both Angie and Meredith will be on spring break next week, the temperatures are in the 80's, the sky is blue, so many plants and trees are blossoming and allergy season is in full swing! Once can't help but have spring fever even here in the desert! With spring in mind, I pulled out one of my all time PTI stamp sets and made a couple of cards along with a combination of pretty patterned papers from a couple of Pion Design collections including: Vintage Wedding, My Beloved Son and Paris Flea Market:
One of the many things I love about Pion Design papers is their versatility and how easily they can be mixed and matched.
I even dusted off my stash of Copic markers!
For sketch inspiration, I joined along with the retrosketches sketch challenge:
I was also inspired by the card Concept challenge to create a Clean and Layered style card:
Thanks so much for stopping by!
