Hi! Today I'm joining along with the PTI May: Create Along With Us challenge which allows anyone to select something that a PTI team member has created during the release that inspired you, and create your own version. I was inspired by Heather's fun card show below:
Here's my interpretation:
I combined several stamp sets to create my card including PTI Gran's Garden, PTI Background Basics: Newsprint, PTI Turning a New Leaf, etc...
For card sketch inspiration, I'm joining along with the FabFriday challenge:
I also have a 16" x 20" oil painting featuring a garden of peonies inspired by Bill Inman:

Just A Little Note 32

Mona Pendleton | Monday, May 7, 2018 @ 11:26 AM | , ,

Hi! Tina and I spent the weekend helping Angie relocate to San Diego. Angie is now in France for another U.S. Cycling team competition. Today I'm playing along with the PTI Make It Monday challenge where the theme is to "Mask a Sentiment".
I created a card featuring a masked sentiment from the PTI Floral Sketches stamp set with beautiful blossoms and foliage from the PTI Gran's Garden stamp set.
Up next is an 8" x 10" oil painting featuring a vase of roses:
I'm joining along with the following card challenges: for sketch inspiration, the Freshly Made Sketches sketch challenge:

Hi there! Today I'm joining along with the PTI Make It Monday challenge where the challenge is to create a project featuring Ink Blending on Colored Cardstock. I made a card for sweet daughter Angie who will be graduating from college this week.
I randomly stamped, heat embossed then blended coordinating ink around the butterflies to create the background. For the focal point, I stamped then heat embossed the larger embossed butterfly from the What The Doodle: Mini Butterfly stamp set as well.
In case you missed my post (HERE), Angie is currently a member of the US Cycling team. Several weeks ago, she traveled to Hiroshima, Japan and placed second on the podium (far left):
This past week, Angie traveled to Sydney, Australia where she placed second ago:
Here's Angie defying gravity in Australia!
I'm joining along with the additional following challenges: for sketch inspiration, the Just Add Ink challenge:
for color inspiration, the Color Throwdown color challenge:

Hi! Today I'm joining along with the PTI "Transformation Tuesday" challenge. This challenge is to take a card which you’ve made in the past and transform it in some way. Here's my original card which I made March 22, 2017 and may be seen here:
Here's my new interpretation / transformation:
This time around, I opted for a softer pastel look featuring watercoloring. I combined pretty flowers from the PTI Vintage Linens set with the thanks sentiment from the PTI Wet Paint Cuts die collection along with a beautiful flourish from the PTI Fanciful Flourishes stamp set:
For color inspiration, I'm joining along with the Color Throwdown color challenge:
Up next is an 8" x 10" oil painting featuring a garden scene that was inspired by Ginger Cook. I'm entering this painting in the 30 paintings in 30 days challenge~Day 27:
I'm also joining along with the Paint Party Friday site:
Thanks so much for stopping by!
