You can finalize your wish list and head over to the MFT Boutique to SHOP until your hearts content! All the new products are available NOW, right HERE! Thanks to all those who took the time to leave such kind and encouraging comments over the past week. I am very grateful for your time! I hope you like all the new MFT products as much as I do!
Tonight I have a holiday banner to share featuring the following items included in the October release: the MPD Square Tiles Stencil, MPD Starry Christmas and Die-namics Starry Christmas.
To create the banner, I die cut Steel Grey cardstock and light grey cardstock x 3 using Die-namics Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX dies, stitched them together then using the MPD Square Tiles Stencil, I added some texture and design to each.
I stamped/embossed the tree, reindeer and dove from MPD Starry Christmas on coordinating die cuts made using Die-namics MPD Starry Christmas. I adhered the stamped images on patterned paper that was cut using a Die-namics Pierced Circle STAX die:
For the title, I used Die-namics High-Rise dies to cut Black Licorice cardstock:
Many thanks for visiting ~ I hope you like my banner!
It's time to head over to the MFT Blog to see what the rest of the team is up to. Be sure to check out all the designers' creations to get one last look at every stamp set releasing

Good Times...MFT July NPT 44

Mona Pendleton | Tuesday, July 9, 2013 @ 7:00 PM | , , , , , , ,

Hi! Welcome to the July MFT New Product Tour! Tonight, the MFT DT will be taking you on a tour of all the new products that are available NOW right HERE in the MFT Boutique.  I'm very excited to share with a few projects I made focusing on the following Brand Spankin' New Products: MPD Tropical Sensations, Die-namics MPD Tropical Sensations, MPD Concentric Circles Stencil and the MPD Petal Pattern Stencil.

First up is a layout featuring photos of both Meredith and Connor that were taken several years ago while we were vacationing on Maui. I think they still had baby teeth in their mouths! YIKES!
To create this layout, I first started by layering and stitching a piece of paper (blue one) that I made using the Gelli Arts Printing plate onto a yellow 12 x 12 piece of card stock. Once stitched in place, I added design and texture using the MPD Concentric Circles Stencil with fiber paste.

Once the fiber paste was dry, I adhered the photos of Meredith and Connor that were die cut using Die-namics Pierced Circle STAX dies. Now the page was ready to be embellished with lots of flowers using Tropical Sensations. The yellow plumeria shown below was stamped using a combination of the pretty Banana Split and Lemon Drop inks.
The Hibiscus blossoms shown below were stamped using a combination of Sno Cone and Banana Split inks. All of the other non stamped Hibiscus blossoms on the page were made using the Die-namics Hibiscus die along with the following colors of cardstock: Banana Split, Lemon Drop and Sno Cone and the foliage was made using Gumdrop Green. For added shimmer, I sprayed the cardstock Hibiscus blossoms with MIX-ables Sheer Shimmer Mist.
For the title, I used one of the fun dies from Die-namics LLD Accent It - Celebrate to die cut a piece of Lemon Drop card stock. Peeking out from below the title is a little stamped / die cut banner that was made using LLD Bitty Banners
Next is a rather clean and simple card featuring a couple Hibiscus blooms from Tropical Sensations as well as a sentiment. This card was so easy to make and took very little time! I simply die cut a piece of Sweet Tooth cardstock using the beautiful Die-namics Modern Morocco die then adhered the stamped / die cut Hibiscus blossoms and sentiment.
Last but not least is another card featuring a Hibiscus blossom and sentiment, both from Tropical Sensations. Once the Hibiscus was stamped and die cut, I adhered it on top of a fun triple layered stack that was made using Die-namics Pierced Circle STAX dies.
For added design, texture and color, I applied molding paste to the background using the MPD Petal Pattern Stencil. Once dry, I lightly sprayed a mist that was made using Banana Split ink and MIX-ables Sheer Shimmer Mist. I finished the card with a trio of stitched on Blu Raspberry buttons.
Thanks so much for stopping by ~  I hope you enjoyed my projects.
Be sure to head over to the MFT Blog, where you can see what the rest of the team came up with using the new products.

More than Chocolate 51

Mona Pendleton | Monday, April 8, 2013 @ 9:00 PM | , , , , , ,

Hi there! Today several of the MFT Design Team will be taking you on a tour of all the new products being released on April 9 at 10 PM EST right HERE in the MFT Boutique.

Today I have a mini album to share that was made using Die-namics Mini Album Bracket STAX featuring several photos of sweet Meredith and Griffin. I focused on the Chocolate Sentiments stamp set and combined several of the fun and verstile sentiments with rose blooms from LJD Sweet Roses

Starting with the cover, I stamped a sentiment from Chocolate Sentiments on a die cut label made using Die-namics Layered Label. I stamped the larger rose image from LJD Sweet Roses on a die cut made using the coordinating die from LJD Roses and Leaves using Blu Rapberry ink. I topped it off with a Kraft button.
Page two features another fun sentiment from Chocolate Sentiments and a pair of Sweet Roses that were stamped using Blu Rapberry and Sno Cone inks. The leaves were stamped using Gumdrop Green and Sour Apple inks. I topped the small Sweet Rose off with a Grapesicle button.
Page three features another fun sentiment from Chocolate Sentiments along with another Sno Cone stamped Sweet Rose topped with a Whip Cream button.
Lastly, page 4 features another fun sentiment from Chocolate Sentiments and more Sweet Roses. All of the stamped / die cut hearts throughout the book were stamped using Kraft ink along with images from LJD Homespun Hearts and die cut using the coordinating Die-namics LJD Rustic Hearts
Many thanks for visiting today ~ I hope you enjoyed my mini album as much as I enjoyed creating it!
Be Sweet ;)
