I used the word MOMENT in the sentiment 'Live in the moment'. The creative challenge inspired me to create a steampunk style canvas featuring a variety of CLOCKS and cogs:

Painting is my creative escape! The rainbow of colors in the photo inspired me to give Gary Jenkins Rainbow Roses video tutorial a try. This is an 11" x 14" gessoed art board painted with oil.

Sending Happy Thoughts 27

Hi there! Today I have a tag to share for the March More Than Words Mini Challenge. This month, we are challenging you to create a card, tag or ATC featuring the word "Happy". I created a mixed media style card that I made for my sweet sister Marlene, who is scheduled to have a bilateral mastectomy along with reconstructive breast surgery today. She has completed 12 weeks of chemotherapy and is thankfully cancer free as of now :) Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

I added lots of texture using various mediums including texture paste, Distress embossing powder, crackled paste and crackle paint:

I created a mixed media style tag featuring a chipboard fairy from Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts formerly known as Gina's Designs. I added lots of texture using some baubles as well as texture paste along with a stencil from MFT.  The title "trust the Magic" was stamped using a Prima stamp:

Creative Challenge - SPARKLE

I created a layout featuring a photo of my sweet daughter Angie. I used the word wonderful for the title ~ #wonderful. For the creative challenge, I added lots of sparkle to all the blossoms with a coating of shimmery glitter, I embossed the wooden snowflake with sparkly embossing enamel and gave each stamped snowflake a sparkly rhinestone center:
