Hi there! I hope you are having a great weekend! Lately, I have been enjoying creating mini albums of sorts ~ in case you missed the last petite tag mini that I made, please feel free to click here. Today, I have another to share featuring a variety of fabulous Pion design patterned papers and images from the A Day in May collection:
To create this album, I die cut grungeboard and patterned papers, adhered together then distressed the edges. (super easy):
Each sweet image was die cut, framed and layered on pretty die cuts that were made using a variety of Spellbinders dies:
then embellished with flowers from my stash, die cut foliage and sweet little die cut butterflies:
Each tag features an altered Spellbinders Media Mixage bezel:
Up close, you can see the crackled detail on the butterflies:
I'm going to enter this tag mini album in the Word Art Wednesday challenge where the theme is "Anything Goes" and the Craft Hoarders Anonymous challenge where the theme is "Tag, You're It"
Thanks so much for stopping by ~ I hope you have a great day / evening!
Be Sweet ;)

Hi there! I've been hoarding collecting various pieces from the Spellbinders Media Mixage line for quite some time now and I finally got around to putting them to good use :) I made a die cut chipboard petite mini album featuring beautiful patterned papers from the Pion design My Precious Daughter 6 x 6" collection along with small bezels from the Spellbinders Media Mixage line:
To create this album, I cut chipboard and Pion design papers using the Tim Holtz Artful Dwellings die, adhered the coordinating pieces together, stamped and embossed using the brick design rubber stamp from the Tim Holtz Ultimage Grunge set:
Then embellished with die cut chipboard hearts and butterflies which I altered using crackle and Martha Stewart paints:
I layered a little doily behind each die cut embellishment:
I wanted the bezels to appear a bit more shabby, so I applied Tim Holtz picket fence Distress paint, allowed to dry, placed a Tim Holtz sticker sentiment in each, then covered with Ranger Glossy Accents:
Here is what the front of the mini album looks like when not assembled:
and the back side:
For color inspiration, I joined along with the current Scrap Africa challenge which is to be inspired by the mood board shown below and I am also entering Hels, Sunday Stamper challenge where the theme is books
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed my petite mini album. I've never made one this mini before and I think I'm hooked!
Be Sweet ;)
