Hi there! Almost half way to the weekend already - time surely flies when I have the day off from work! I started the day off with a visit to the Dentist then rewarded myself with a good work out at the gym and lunch with my hubby :) LOL I
DREAD visiting the Dentist but unfortunately, it is one of those necessary evils.
I had a chance to sneak in some crafty
me time so I made this card featuring
Taylored Expressions Sew Happy "petite" set from Taylor's December Release. Don't let the word "petite" fool you - this set is full of amazing images and sentiments!
After inking up the dress form image, I colored it using
Copic Markers then using a
S4-110 Classic Ovals LG die template to cut/emboss the image. I popped it up using foam adhesive square on top of a layer that was cut/embossed using a
S4-294 Beaded Oval die template.
Finished it off with a tag displaying the
sew happy sentiment. For sketch inspiration, I played along with this Mercy's awesome sketch challenge:
