Happy Valentine's Day...MFT December New Product Tour 100

Hi there! Thank you for the sweet comments on my latest posts! I hope you have been inspired to create :)

I created an altered mixed media Valentine's Day mini album for my sweetheart Scott while focusing on the beautiful Lovey-Dovey Sentiments stamp set. I've also included many fun sentiments from LLD Document It - Captured Memories. 

The cover features a sentiment from Lovey-Dovey Sentiments which I stamped on a die cut strip made using Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon. I layered the sentiment on a die cut frame made using Die-namics Insert It - InstaFrame and surrounded the framed photo with various die cut flowers including a Paver Red blossom made using Die-namics Winter Rose.

Along with the Winter Rose are blossoms made using Die-namics Die-namics Mini Royal Roses, Die-namics Royal Rose, Die-namics Large Royal Rose, Die-namics Layered Rose and Die-namics MINI Rolled Roses.

I simply stamped the sentiment, trimmed to fit inside frame, layered and adhered on book:

I wrapped up the book with a garden full of die cut flowers along with a pretty flourish made using Die-namics Sentimental Flourish

MFT December Die-namics Feature & Pep Rally 41

Now that we've teased and tempted you all week long, it's almost time for you to shop for your favorite Brand Spankin' New products from MFT. But first... it's time for our Die-namics Feature and Pre-Release Pep Rally! Our Design Team has been busy creating jaw-dropping and inspiring projects for you, and we've saved the best for last. We've taken an in-depth look at this month's Die-namics, while re-visiting the amazing sets being released tonight at 10 PM EST RIGHT HERE in the MFT Boutique. And while we are at it, how about we make your life even easier with a "cheat sheet" of all that's new? Head over to the MFT Blog to print out a shopping list.

Once again I love all the Die-namics included in the December release making it quite challenging to choose one to focus on! I chose to focus on the Die-namics Winter Rose while incorporating a variety of other Die-namics.

I scrapped a layout featuring a photo of Scott that was taken several years ago when we were on vacation in Venice, Italy. I made a trio of Paver Red cs Winter Roses using Die-namics Winter Rose along with a variety of cs roses made using Die-namics Mini Royal Roses, Die-namics Royal Rose, Die-namics Large Royal Rose, Die-namics Layered Rose and Die-namics MINI Rolled Roses. 

I stamped one of the many wonderful sentiments included in the Lovey-Dovey Sentiments on a die cut label made using Die-namics Framed Greetings.

Peeking out from the Winter Rose shown below, is a beautiful die cut made using Die-namics Sentiment Flourish.

Be Mine...MFT December Teasers Day 3 61

Hello! Welcome to Day 3 of the MFT December Teasers! I hope you have been enjoying the past few days of awesome samples shared by the MFT DT as much as I am! Today I am sharing a couple of cards showcasing Lovey-Dovey Sentiments.

The Lovey-Dovey Sentiments stamp set is full of many sweet sentiments. I made the first sample with Scott in mind ;) I kept it a little toned down and not so frilly. I stamped the sentiment on a die cut made using Die-namics Postage Stamp STAX followed with a cute heart stamped using MFT Wild Cherry ink. I added a die cut corrugated cardboard heart made using Die-namics Hearts a Plenty and layered it on top of a doily made using Die-namics Mini Doily Circles.

I finished the inside with another sentiment from Lovey-Dovey Sentiments that was stamped using MFT Wild Cherry ink on a die cut made using Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon. Behind the sentiment is a die cut heart made using Die-namics Hearts a Plenty layered on a doily made using Die-namics Open Scallop Doily DUO which was layered on die cuts made using Die-namics Postage Stamp STAX.

The second card is for my sweet sister Tina and is a bit more feminine and frilly :) I stamped the LOVE U sentiment on a die cut circle made using Die-namics Circle STAX Set 1 then layered it on a die cut doily made using a Die-namics Dainty Doily DUO die. The fun border was made using the Die-namics Mini Double Dot Border.

Tina loves shimmery goodness as much as I do so I added a die cut rose made using Die-namics Royal Rose.

I finished the inside as well by stamping the Happy Valentine's Day sentiment and a heart from Lovey-Dovey Sentiments.
