happy Easter 25

Mona Pendleton | Wednesday, April 12, 2017 @ 1:00 PM | , ,

Hi there! Today I'm sharing the projects featured in this post on the Poppystamps blog as well. If you have a chance, I'd be thrilled if you stopped by to say hi :) click HERE. I created a couple of Easter projects featuring a variety of products from the New Spring 2017 Release along with other fun Poppystamps products. To create the background. I stamped the pretty flower bouquet from the Friends and Flowers stamp set in a heart shape then water colored using an oil crayon.
I created a meadow scene featuring die cut Preppy Flowers along with a Serene Rabbit:
I embellished with Stitched Butterfly Trio butterflies, Freida Leaf foliage and Pretty Stitches borders to name a few:

For the title, I used the Happy Easter Egg die:
Up next is an Easter card featuring another fun scene featuring Preppy Flowers and a Serene Rabbit:

Hi there! Today I'm joining along with the Prima Make it March challenge
I created a mixed media style layout featuring fun photos of sweet Meredith that I had on hand that were taken nearly two years ago. I combined papers from the Prima Salvage District, along with a textured background using a Prima stencil, Prima Color Bloom sprays, and Prima texture paste. I surrounded the photos with various Prima die cuts, a Prima resin embellishment and Prima blossoms:

Beautiful 34

Mona Pendleton | Friday, February 19, 2016 @ 12:35 AM | , , , ,

Hi there! It seems like it has been forever since I created a layout so I took some time to join along with a few challenges that I haven't played with in awhile. I created a layout featuring a photo of the beautiful Eiffel Tower that Scott snapped while we were on vacation a few years ago visiting Paris.
The current 7 Dots Studio challenge is to create an Industrial inspired project.
I chose to feature the gorgeous structure because it is a stunning industrial work of art. I used fabulous papers from the 7 Dots Studio Cold Country collection along with a variety of embellishments including chipboard industrial gears. I was going for an industrial patina color scheme.

For sketch inspiration, I'm joining along with the current Let's Get Sketchy sketch challenge:

Thanks so much for stopping by~I hope you have a great weekend!
