Holiday GREETINGS and more... 20

Mona Pendleton | Sunday, November 16, 2014 @ 12:15 PM | , , , , ,

Hi there! I hope you are having a great time whatever you are doing. Scott had to work today, so I spent some time creating a collection of 4 cards featuring beautiful images from Pion Design's From Grandma's Attic ~ tinted paper:
All four cards are quite similar with the major differences being the beautiful image, pretty patterned papers used and sentiment. The first three cards were made using a combination of papers from the Days of Winter collection:
I used a variety of Spellbinders die templates:
PTI stamps:
flowers from my stash:
seam binding ribbon:
along with a piece of cotton lace from my stash:
The last card was made using pretty papers from the versatile My Beloved Son collection:
Don't be fooled by the name ~ obviously not just for masculine projects!
For sketch inspiration, I joined along with the MOJO Monday sketch challenge:
Many thanks for visiting ~ I hope you have a great week!
Be Sweet ;)

Hi there! Hope you are off to a great start of the new week! Today I have a couple of projects to share featuring pretty papers from the Pion Design Days of Winter collection. I inked up some PTI stamps and joined along with this week's PTI Make it Monday challenge where the current challenge is: create gold-dipped die cuts.
I dipped the teeny string of lights in gold embossing powder:
I also created a coordinating gift tag:
For card sketch inspiration, I joined along with the current retrosketches sketch challenge:
I am entering my tag in the Friday Mashup challenge where the current challenge is to: Create a "Tag for a Bottle, Box or Bag" ~ Create a project with "Bling" ~ or Mash it Up! and create a "Tag with Bling"
Many thanks for stopping by ~ I hope you have a great day / evening!

Hi there! I'm looking forward to a fun filled Friday ~ how about you? Today I have a shabby holiday banner to share featuring pretty papers from the Pion Design Days of Winter collection:
I was going for a shabby vibe and the subtle papers worked perfectly for this banner:
I used a variety of dies including Die-namics, Tim Holtz Sizzix and I even pulled out circular punches ;)

Hi there! Any big weekend plans? Not much planned here, just some R & R and hopefully some crafting ;) Today I have a couple Christmas cards to share featuring pretty papers from the Pion Design Days of Winter collection ~ a pink and a blue version. First up is the pink version:
I die cut beautiful papers from 6 x 6" Days of Winter papers using Spellbinders dies then matted on top of a layer that was stamped / heat embossed using Tim Holtz snowflake stamps:
I embellished with a die cut rolled rose, snowflake, pretty crocheted doily and scalloped trim:
next up, is the blue version:
featuring another beautiful image from 6 x 6" Days of Winter papers:
both sentiments are from the Tim Holtz Simple Sayings stamp set:
Here's a collage of close-ups:
For theme inspiration, I joined along with the current Sunday Stamper A Natural Women challenge where the theme is: NATUAL COLOURS & ELEMENTS where you can interpret the challenge how you like: using your favourite neutral tones and natural colours and for sketch inspiration, I joined along with MOJO Monday.

Thanks so much for visiting ~ I hope you have a fun and safe weekend!
