Wrapping it up... 35

Hi there! Hope you are all having a great weekend! I have a few photos to share from Jerry's graduation ceremony on Friday. I won't babble on but I must say, I'm so proud of him :) 

I spent some time today finishing up several gift card boxes that I have been working on. I pulled out my Cricut Expressions machine and made a few boxes using the Bags, Tags, Boxes and More cartridge along with patterned paper from the Pink Paislee City Sidewalks collection. The boxes measure 4 1/2" W x 4" H x 1/2" D, perfect size to house gift cards :)

This year, I didn't shop for my son's sweet GF April, we bought her gift cards to several of her favorite stores so she can shop for herself. I'm so proud of her because she wanted to lose weight, she put the effort into it and has successfully lost over 20 lbs. So we thought she would have more fun shopping for herself :) The tag on this gift box was made using Die-namics Tag You're It and Stamp Set. I stamped the tag image using MFT Wild Cherry ink, adhered an embellishment on that was made using a die from Die-namics Dizzy Doily DUO along with a fan fold decoration that was made using Die-namics 1/4" Rosette then finished it with a Wild Cherry button and a hemp bow.

The inside features a gift card pocket using the Die-namics Gift Card Pocket - Horizontal die then stamped a sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments using Wild Cherry ink.

The next gift box features an embellishment made using the following combination of MFT products: Die-namics Snowflake Doily, Die-namics Decorative Doily DUO, Die-namics 1/4" Rosette, Sno Cone button and hemp.

This gift box also contains a pocket that was made using the Die-namics Gift Card Pocket - Horizontal die then stamped a sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments using Wild Cherry ink.

The next gift box features an embellishment made using the following combination of MFT products: Die-namics Jumbo Snowflake, Die-namics Open Scallop Doily DUO, Die-namics 1/4" Rosette, Sno Cone button and hemp:

The inside contains a gift pocket made using Die-namics Gift Card Pocket - Vertical that was stamped with a sentiment from LJD Stitched Stockings: 

And last but not least is a gift box for Jerry featuring an embellishment made using the following combination of MFT products: Die-namics Decorative Circle STAX, Die-namics Dainty Doily DUO, Die-namics 1/4" Rosette, a Wild Cherry button and a hemp bow:

The inside contains a gift pocket made using Die-namics Gift Card Pocket - Vertical that was stamped with a stamped sentiment from  from Seasonal Sentiments:

Pink Paislee & Core'dinations Blog Hop 45

I made a few Autumn inspired treat bags that may be filled with sweet treats for your loved ones letting them know how thankful and Blessed you are that they are part of your life. All treat bags were made using the Cricut Expressions to cut the Waltzingmouse Tea Bag Baggie template from various prints and colors from the Core'dinations Pink Paislee Modern Prints Collection. NOTE: I sanded all the embossed paper used to make the treat bags. 

Close up, you can see the beautiful embossed lattice pattern of the Core'dinations Pink Paislee Modern Prints Collection. The butterfly and decorative strips were made using pretty patterned paper from the Nantucket Collection and the doily was made using Vintage Vogue ~ Tailored Suit paper. 

The next treat bag sample showcases the gorgeous embossed chevron pattern:

This treat bag features a pear made using paper from Core'dinations Pink Paislee Modern Prints Collection. The circle die cut was made using Vintage Vogue ~ Tailored Suit patterned paper, the decorative circle, strips and leaves were made using patterned paper from the Nantucket ~ 6x6 Paper Pack.

Lastly, the next treat bag showcases the beautiful hexagon embossed pattern:

This treat bag features an apple made using Vintage Vogue ~ Tailored Suit patterned paper which was misted using Ranger's Adirondack Red Pepper Color Wash, the leaf and lacey doily were made using various paper from Core'dinations Pink Paislee Modern Prints Collection and the decorative strips were made using patterned paper from the Phantom ~ 6x6 Paper Pack:

For You...WMS November SOAP Day3 50

Hello! I'm back today for Day 3 of the Waltzingmouse Stamps November SOAP sharing a few more holiday projects that may hopefully help provide some inspiration when you are creating for your loved ones :) With a little, ok A LOT, of help from my sweetie, I made several gift card envelopes and adorned each with a beautiful Waltzingmouse ornament and sweet little tag.

Since my hubby provides 24/7 in house tech support to me exclusively, I had him whip up a gift envelope  in SVG format so I could use the Cricut Expressions to cut them out. Here's what it looks like when opened. I cut these samples to hold a 4" x 4" card as well. The beauty of using the Cricut to cut items like these, you have the ability to cut it any size your little heart desires with just a few button clicks. Gotta love that ~ I know I sure do!

The To:, From: and For You sentiments shown on all are from  Nordic Winter, the glittery ornament shown below is from 2011 Holiday Ornaments and was cut using a Spellbinders 2011 Heirloom Ornament Die template:
