Good Luck to 2S4Y Founders 41

I am SURE many of you have either played along, guest designed or have seen the awesome sketches brought to us from Kazan and Laura, Founders/Owners of the 2Sketches4You Sketch Challenge blog. Well their creative journey has taken them in a new direction and this week's sketches will be the final sketches brought to us by the two of them. Along with the sketches, there is a theme being observed that being: "farewell", "good luck" or "miss you". Please visit the 2S4Y site for COMPLETE details and a WHOLE lot of inspiration!

 Although I am very sad that Kazan and Laura are "shutting down" 2S4Y but I am VERY happy for both of them and can't wait to see where their papercrafting journey will take them next! I made this Good Luck card referring to Kazan's sketch for inspiration. The sweet little rose is a gift I received from my sweet friend Suzanne and the pretty Buttercup seam binding is courtesy of Kimberly at My Craft Spot where you will find MANY beautiful colors for sale.

I inked up the GOOD Luck sentiment from Waltzingmouse Fancy Phrases and used a  to cut/emboss the image which is all showcased on gorgeous DP from the Pink Paislee Sweetness Collection.

Tag Time...2S4Y67 53

 

Hi There! Time for another awesome sketch designed by Kazan for 2Sketches4You. Just something fun for all to use if you choose to make a last minute Christmas Tag! (Please be sure to visit the 2Sketches4You site for COMPLETE details regarding this week's sketch as things are a bit different). Happy Holidays to everyone from Kazan, Laura and the 2Sketches4You DT! Here's my take on the tag sketch:

 

This sketch is so fun and easy to use! Perfect canvas for a Holiday tag or ANY occasion tag:

I pulled out Waltzingmouse Around Christmastime and the Cosmo Cricket Mitten Weather Mini Deck and made 3 different tags changing up the stamped images and patterned paper. First up, is a lavender/aqua combo:

Next up is more of a traditional red & green color combo:

Last but not least, a lavender/red combo:

Bee Happy!...2S4Y67 22

Hi There! Time for another fabulous sketch designed by Laura for 2Sketches4You. JustRite Stampers, is sponsoring this week's challenge and has provided the DT with various stamps to create our projects with. I used the Bee Ride - Cling set to create my card: 

I flipped the sketch vertically so I could stamp a little flower garden with a bee buzzin' about using
several images from the Bee Ride set.

For a little added dimension, I paper-pieced the wings adding a dab of Stickles to the wings. The Copic markers shown below were used to color the images:

To create the little tag, I inked up the Bee Happy! image with Memento Rhubarb Stalk ink and topped it off with a button.
