Go Green!

I'm playing along with a couple of challenges - both asking us to use green! Now, that's absolutely no problem for me since it's my favorite color!

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday - Go green!
Belli Challenge - use St. Patrick's Day theme or use color green

Here's what I used...
STAMPS: Old Fashioned Florals (Flourishes), Easter Wishes (Flourishes) - sentiment

INK: Memento Tuxedo Black
ACCESSORIES: Victorian Oval Template dies (Flourishes), Labels Ten Nestie, Tiny Tags die by PTI, Ribbon - freebie from Ellen Hutson store, Lace by Flourishes.

What's Cooking?

If you're looking for my FYI challenge card, scroll down to my next post. This card is for three challenges:
Color Throwdown - More Mustard, Elegant Eggplant, Wild Wasabi, Early Espresso.
Sketch For You To Try - Jen's March sketch.
Creative Belli Challenge - use "C" embellishments (Charm, Copper brads, Copics - not exactly an embellishment, but it does start with a "C" - lol).
I was a little sneaky with my rectangle panel and used vellum, so I wouldn't cover the DP base quite as much. The sentiment was stamped on a die cut shape by MFT.
STAMPS: The ala modes in What's Cooking? by MFT
PAPER: D.E.I., Neenah Solar White, Vellum
INK: Memento Rich Cocoa, Elegant Eggplant
ACCESSORIES: MFT die, Sheer ribbon (SU), Twine, Spatula charm, Metal brads, Copics, Sponge
It's been the most glorious spring day today...sunny and near 70! Hope it's gorgeous where you are!

It's a Jungle Out There!

I'm on a roll today...this time the card is for the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge and for the Belli Challenge to use animals. The monkey is paper-pieced and the edges were sponged with Chocolate Chip ink. The leaves were die cut using Wild Wasabi CS and sponged with Always Artichoke ink. I think the rest is self-explanatory.

PAPER: Safari Chic stack by DCWV, Chocolate Chip, Vintage Cream
INK: Chocolate Chip
ACCESSORIES: Zigzag Die-namic by MFT, Oval scallop and label punches by SU, Leaf die by Sizzix, Sponge

Just A Note

This card is for 4 challenges:
MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge
Our Creative Corner - Get wordy! Use sentiment stamps to create a BG by stamping repeatedly.
Creative Belli Challenge - use felt or fabric
Color Throwdown - So Saffron, Pretty in Pink, Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip
I just got my MFT "Who's That Musical Girl" kit in the mail yesterday, so had to ink it up for the above challenges. Normally I wouldn't do a piano image in chocolate chip, but hey...Liberace probably had a piano with chocolate keys! I repeatedly stamped the sentiment using the CTD colors. The image was stamped using Memento Rich Cocoa ink, then colored with Copics. I had this rolled flower already made in my leftover stash, so a quick button and chocolate baker's twine finished this up. Got to go...time to get ready for work.

Hi There!

This is the card I made for MFT Wednesday Stamp Club challenge which includes a sketch. Paper-piecing and coloring with Copics was a quick way to bring this little PI girl to life! The sentiment and sun are from Verve sets. I especially love the sentiment circle with ends of the scallop punched RR paper peeking out. I filled in the blank space using a tiny flower stamp from the $1 bin at Mike's and used the small 4-petal flower punch (from SU's trio of punches) for the leaves. I added a tiny rhinestone to the center and added dots around the circle with a Tombow marker. This is also for the Creative Belli Challenge: the letter "P". This card includes purple, punches, polka dots, & patterned paper.
STAMPS: MFT Pure Innocence "Blooming Good Day", Happy Hello and Let it Shine (Verve)
PAPER: Cottage Wall DP (SU), Rich Razzleberry
INK: Memento Tuxedo Black
ACCESSORIES: Scallop punch (SU), Ribbon (SU), Oval scallop punch (SU), Circle punch

Belle of the Belli

I've been a little down with my stamping mojo recently, but got a pleasant surprise when I discovered I was 1 of 2 who won the Belle of the Belli award for the last bi-weekly challenge! I really needed that perk, so thank you to the DT for this affirmation! Their new Belli Challenge (and the last one for the year) is to do a Christmas themed card. I got a beautiful card in the mail today from Teresa Kline and wanted to CASE it (see the smaller blue/brown card picture). By adding a line of stitching, this card also qualifies for SCS Technique Lovers Challenge to use sewing - real or faux.
STAMPS: Glad Tidings (Verve), Vintage Oval Frame (Verve)
PAPER: Jovial DP (BasicGrey), Neenah Solar white
INK: Versafine Onyx Black, Old Olive
ACCESSORIES: Corner chomper, Satin ribbon, Lace trim, Verve die, Button, Baker's twine

The stocking was hung...

Challenges:
Creative Belli - Christmas themed embellishment
Tuesday Taggers - The stockings were hung...
Paper Sundaes - Anything but a square or rectangle
Creative Inspirations - Anything Goes Christmas
I needed another gift card holder, so went with Claire's stocking template again. I created a belly band with the ribbon so it will slide off the top and the flap can be opened to reveal a gift card inside. The snowflake is a punch with Champagne Glass glitter added. DP is Mistletoe by Making Memories.
