Amigurumi Mini Monster

Yesterday I crocheted this little Amigurumi Mini Monster dude. He’s an old design but I reworked it a little and thought I’d see how it turned out.

Will add him to my etsy shop later. :)

Very bad watercolour alert!

Love Blobites
I thought I'd try something a little different with my latest painting project and take away my black outlines and try and paint without them.  Oh my god, I found it tricky, it was weird and like I couldn't paint.  Meep!  I finished it but I have to say I didn't enjoy it as I just wasn't pleased with the result but I thought I'd post it as you have to see the bad as well as the good to improve, right? :)

By the way this is a painting of my little Amigurumi Love Blobites that I crochet sometimes, I thought they'd be an easy thing to start with but they weren't. :P  I'm not sure painting without the black outlines is really me, I might try something else though and see how I get on, or put the lines back. :)

More Amigurumi Voodoo Dolls

I was asked to make a couple of Amigurumi Voodoo Dolls as a custom order. I've been making a few voodoo dolls over the past few months and love making them so it was nice to take on this custom order. I enjoyed making these two. Melvin and Matilda their names are (chosen by the customer) and I think they're too cute. :)

I've also had Voodoo Bunnies on the brain and just finished a black and purple one earlier too which I've become quite fond of. :)

Amigurumi Kawaii Pink Bear

Just thought I'd share this little Amigurumi Pink Bear I made yesterday while enjoying a lazy Sunday afternoon on the sofa watching a film. :)  Crocheting and watching tv works for me - relaxing. :)

Anyway this little one can be adopted from my etsy shop as usual. :)

Amigurumi Purple Bunny - Lilly

Lilly is a sleepy bunny, she loves to daydream and can barely keep her eyes open at times. She's very laid back and enjoys snacking on blueberries. :)

Lilly has just hopped in to my etsy shop. :)

Amigurumi Rainbow Drops

And now for something new. :)

These little things were inspired by rainbows.... obviously. :) They're called Rainbow Drops and it's thought these pretty little droplets of colour are formed when ordinary dull raindrops pass through the colours of a rainbow.

Loved making these and fun to use such bright yarn colours as I don't always get to use red and orange for example. :) These will gradually be listed for adoption at my etsy shop.

Amigurumi Kawaii Lollipops

I have no idea why I suddenly decided I wanted to crochet some lollipops but they just came to mind. :)  I love lollipops, they remind me of Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.... or the sweet section of Harrods in London.  Not that I go shopping in Harrods very often but the sweet section in there is once seen, not easily forgotten. :)

These were so much fun to make though and I love seeing them all together, so bright and cheerful.  They'll be going up for sale in my etsy shop over the next few days.

My Monkey Week. :)

I've been busy in my spare time over the last week or so. :)  Busy making monkeys!  I had none left, not one ickle monkey which is very unlike me.  They all went to good homes over the Christmas period so I thought it was time to get them all back in stock.

And then that got me thinking that I don't think I've ever had them all together at once.  So I grabbed this opportunity and got a pic of them all together.  Awwwww..........

Marvin, Millie, Minty, Mollie, Mikey, Mervin and Mia. :)

I'm calling this my Monkey Week. :)  One a day will be heading in to my etsy shop starting today. :D

Rainbow Bunny Blobs

I finally finished making all of my Rainbow Bunny Blobs. :) I've been gradually making them inbeween making Autumn and Wintery type critters. I had a lot of fun making them, mainly because I got to use colour yarns that I rarely get to use. :D

I love seeing them all together, they look so fun and bright. :D All will be available on my etsy shop although I'm listing them gradually.

The Love Blobites have landed!

Similar to their Blobite cousins, the Love Blobites have arrived on earth to add more colour to the world. The biggest difference with Love Blobites is they want to spread the love. :) They are also trained in pin cushion techniques!

They can currently been found on my etsy shop and also my folksy shop.

Amigurumi Monkey - Mollie

Mollie the Monkey is a very active monkey and loves to run and jump about as much as possible. She's a little hyperactive but also likes her afternoon naps.

Mollie loves a nice place to curl up to sleep and also comes complete with her own little name tag. More information about Mollie is here. :)

Marvin and friends. :)

Remember last time I posted I was saying how Marvin the Monkey has been a little down lately and it's because he's been lonely?

Well Marvin is lonely no more. :) He's now a happy monkey and it's all thanks to his new monkey friends! :D Meet Melvin, Mollie and Millie. :) They've all been getting on really well and having lots of fun together. :)

I will be introducing them individually and telling you more about them in days to come. :)

Amigurumi Bear - Frizz

This fuzzy bear is a bit on the lazy side and likes to find a nice comfy spot to have a snooze or watch the day go by. :) Frizz is also a daydreamer but is very loveable. :)

Frizz the bear is looking for a new home with a nice place to relax and daydream. More information about Frizz here.

Frizz was also a challenge using a different kind of yarn which was a bit of a bugger to use but I'm pleased with the end result. :)
