Amigurumi Felix "Scout" McFrosty Penguin
Some of you may recognise this little fellow. :) When I first started up on etsy I made felt plushies although the amigurumi crochet kind of took over in the end. Well this is a little character my boyfriend designed for me and I think he's so cute. :) He started off as a felt plushie and that's the way he's been for the last two and a half years or so.
But with deciding to concentrate more on my crochet I didn't want to lose some of my much loved felt plushie characters so I thought I'd gradually convert them to yarn and make little amigurumi critters out of them. So here's Felix and in case he's new to you, here's his story...
Felix is on a mission from the Antarctic. Having heard about global warming his penguin clan sent him away to gather information on the world without snow and ice. Sadly, this was years ago and he is now lost and can't find his way home.
Fish was his favourite food but since leaving the Antarctic he has discovered a love for jelly babies.
Felix can be adopted at either my etsy shop or my folksy shop. :)

Bunnies and chicks.
I know Valentine's Day is approaching and I did do the Love Blobites with that in mind, but I think I enjoy Easter more in terms of crafting. :) Maybe it's the thought of making cute little bunnies?
I was busy making a custom order of little chicks which was fun to do. Hopefully they will ok for the customer.

And I've also been making some little bunnies. :) One already went to it's new home but they are popping up on my folksy and etsy shop if interested. :)

The Love Blobites have landed!
Similar to their Blobite cousins, the Love Blobites have arrived on earth to add more colour to the world. The biggest difference with Love Blobites is they want to spread the love. :) They are also trained in pin cushion techniques!
They can currently been found on my etsy shop and also my folksy shop.

Cup of Tea Kawaii Plush Pin
Despite the fact I'm not a tea drinker and don't like the stuff I actually enjoyed making these little pins and found them fun. :D I was pleased with the way they turned out. :)
They can be found at etsy here or folksy here. :)

Tear / Rain Drop Kawaii Plush Pin
I had a couple of days off work last week to give myself a longer weekend and I spent a lot of it watching films and enjoying some felt craft. :)
I haven't made much out of felt lately as I've been enjoying my crochet so much but I've had some ideas going round my head for a while now so it was time to get them out and turn them into real things. :) I've had fun making plushies and little felt pin badges so I'll gradually post them on here starting with this little tear or rain drop pin.

It can be found at etsy here or folksy here. :)

UK Handmade Online Sites
About a year or so ago when I first heard about etsy and starting selling it always bothered me that it was so American and everything being listed in US$ with no option to change currencies. I hoped that something similar in the UK would take off.
Well now there seems to be a few of them popping up all similar in the one respect that they are UK based, you can list in good ole £ and for selling your handmade crafts.
Of course they're all in beta stage at the moment. I feel like I want to support all of them because I want them all to do well as it can be hard getting started but will there be room for all of them? I guess time will tell but good luck to folksy, coriandr and myehive.
In trying to support all of them in some way. I have opened a shop on each of them, whether I'll manage to fill them is another story but if interested you can find me at:
