Amigurumi Little Bears
I've been busy crocheting a different type of bear to the last ones I've been making. I seem to have a thing about bears at the moment. :P
These ones are smaller and less traditional looking and I was in a bright colour mood so they ended up aqua, green and red. :) As usual they can be adopted at my etsy shop. :)

Amigurumi Bunny Rabbits
Just a quick blog post today as it's been a busy day at work and I'm kind of in the mood to play lots of Dragon Quest on my DS this evening. :)
But I still wanted to introduce these two little characters. They are my new amigurumi bunny rabbits and available for adoption at my etsy shop. :)

Amigurumi Fox Cub
For a little while now I've been thinking about crocheting a fox as it's an animal I haven't attempted before and thought it would go well with some of my Autumn Woodland creations. I wasn't totally sure how I was going to do it though. It was something I didn't get around to doing last year!
I doodled it first on a scrap of paper and then set to work and came up with this little cub. I'm pleased with it. I know it's not so traditional fox like but I made it to look how it would appeal more to me, lol.
It's up for adoption at my etsy shop. :)

Amigurumi Ice-Creams
Wow! It's been such a hot weekend here in the UK! That's quite unusual for us, heehee. :P Especially in May. Today in particular really has been hot. Too hot for me if I'm honest as I don't like hot weather.
So I've been trying to stay cool by keeping in the shade, eating ice-cream and crocheting..... which then lead to me crocheting ice-creams too and I came up with these little cones flavoured in chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. :) All up for adoption at my etsy shop. :)

Amigurumi Kawaii Toadstall
I love Woodland things whether it be animals or things you find on walks out. I've been meaning to do some toadstalls for ages as I like the look of them so recently began experimenting and this is result number one. :) I thought it looked kind of cute although probably not the finished result I wanted that was in my head. I plan to go back to them at some point but have been so busy with other things lately.
Anyway this little fungus is available to adopt at my etsy shop. :)

Mmmm... I love cookies! Especially chocolate ones with chocolate chips! They're one of my fave treats so I decided it was about time I tried to make a plush one and this is what I came up with. :) Calorie free cookies. :D
Perfect for any cookie addict and available at my etsy shop. :)

Amigurumi Kawaii Pastel Bunnies
It's still all about the bunnies for me. :) I have been enjoying crocheting this set of cute little bunnies all in nice pastel colours which I thought would look nice for spring. :)
Loved making these bunnies, they were fun and look so cute together. They are up for adoption at my etsy shop.

Amigurumi Woodland Bunnies
I seem to have a bit of a thing at the moment about making bunnies. :) Bunnies are so adorable and you can have a lot of fun with them, like exaggerating their ears for example to end up with such different looking results. :)
So this time I have been making a set of little Woodland Bunnies. :) I love using this yarn and also added the little ribbon decoration on their ears too. They will be up for adoption at my etsy shop.

Amigurumi Pink Bunny - Rosie
Rosie is a pink bunny I crocheted recently and she's been adopted by a friend of mine but I thought I'd post about her anyway and show her on here. :)
Rosie is a happy little bunny who loves to go out for walks and hops on a nice day. She also has a fondness for strawberries and raspberries and loves listening to music. :)

Amigurumi Cats
Cats are my absolute favourite animal! I've grown up with them and always had a cat about, they're just such cute, fun and curious little creatures. :) So that may come as a surprise that there's rarely been an amigurumi cat in my shop to purchase over the last couple of years or so.
I've made a couple at various times but they just didn't look quite right to me, I don't know why. I think cats are quite tough animals to do justice as they can come out looking evil. Anyway I tried a new design which started out as a doodle in my notebook and was chuffed with the result. :) I'm finally pleased with my cat design, so much so that I made two of them. :) I love their little bells on their collars.
These little cuties will be up for adoption in my etsy shop. :)

Amigurumi Felix "Scout" McFrosty Penguin
Some of you may recognise this little fellow. :) When I first started up on etsy I made felt plushies although the amigurumi crochet kind of took over in the end. Well this is a little character my boyfriend designed for me and I think he's so cute. :) He started off as a felt plushie and that's the way he's been for the last two and a half years or so.
But with deciding to concentrate more on my crochet I didn't want to lose some of my much loved felt plushie characters so I thought I'd gradually convert them to yarn and make little amigurumi critters out of them. So here's Felix and in case he's new to you, here's his story...
Felix is on a mission from the Antarctic. Having heard about global warming his penguin clan sent him away to gather information on the world without snow and ice. Sadly, this was years ago and he is now lost and can't find his way home.
Fish was his favourite food but since leaving the Antarctic he has discovered a love for jelly babies.
Felix can be adopted at either my etsy shop or my folksy shop. :)

Amigurumi Bumblebees
I like bees. :) I think bees are quite cute, all fuzzy and flower loving. Buzzing around and going about their business making honey and stuff. Unlike wasps which make me run off whenever they come near - eugh! I hate wasps and been stung on more than one occasion.
So with my new found Spring inspiration I thought I would make a bee... and then another one... and another one... I think they look cute together. :) These will be buzzing their way on to my etsy shop if interested in adopting. :)

Amigurumi Kawaii Chicks
Continuing with some spring type critters I came up with these little chicks. :) Thought it would be nice with Easter being the next thing to look forward to.
There was one thing strange though, I bought some Cadburys Mini Eggs to go in the pictures but when I got them back from my boyfriend (who took the photos for me) there seemed to be a lot of eggs missing! Hmph! :P
Anyway these little chicks will be available from my etsy shop. :)

My Monkey Week. :)
I've been busy in my spare time over the last week or so. :) Busy making monkeys! I had none left, not one ickle monkey which is very unlike me. They all went to good homes over the Christmas period so I thought it was time to get them all back in stock.
And then that got me thinking that I don't think I've ever had them all together at once. So I grabbed this opportunity and got a pic of them all together. Awwwww..........
Marvin, Millie, Minty, Mollie, Mikey, Mervin and Mia. :)
I'm calling this my Monkey Week. :) One a day will be heading in to my etsy shop starting today. :D

Amigurumi Owls in Love
Just a quick update tonight as I'm feeling pretty tired.
I just wanted to post about another of my Valentine's Day themed ideas which are Little Owls in Love. :) They're based on my current owl design but I used pastel shades of blue and pink yarn and then stitched little hearts to their sides. Awww.... I think they make a cute pair. :)
They'll be going up for adoption on my etsy shop. :)

Love is in the air... Amigurumi Robots in Love
I always find January a bit of a hard month. I think it's just getting over the excitement of Christmas and New Year and then returning to work after a nice break. Kind of feels like I'm semi-hibernating which is good for my crochet. :P
My thoughts have turned to Valentine's Day and I've been spending some time making a few love themed items and having some fun, makes a change to bring out all the girly colours as I must admit I'm not a girly girl person. :) So this post is to introduce my little Amigurumi Robots in Love. :) I've just listed this pink one at my etsy shop here and there are other colours that will follow on shortly..... like this...
And on the subject of Valentine's Day type things, the Love Blobites are back too in my etsy shop. These little Loved Up Blobs appeared this time last year so it's been cool to bring them back again. :)

Amigurumi Purple Leaf Rustler
Before Christmas I spent quite a bit of time creating woodland items for my etsy shop such as owls, acorns etc and really enjoyed making them. :) It was then I created a couple of Leaf Rustlers which were my own woodland themed animal based on familiar looking animals with a difference.
Over Christmas I started changing my pattern a little and tweaking it here and there and also tried out some new yarn I bought and was pleased with the result. A slightly different looking Leaf Rustler but very much loved all the same. I've made a few different colours and they'll all be appearing at my etsy shop at some point but I thought I would start off with the purple one first. :)
