Technique Refresher Tutorial, Cutting 4 Large Mats from one 12x12 Paper, a Country Craft Creations Tutorial

 I recently had some inquiries on how to cut 4 large photo mats from one 12 x 12 paper. This technique has been around for a while, and works well to maximize your paper with minimal waste. I will demonstrate three sizes in the video, and will show you how to figure out other sizes for future projects. This works for any photo mat or cut you want to make that is larger than 4 x 6.

Do-Si-Do Waterfall Album, FREE TUTORIAL! A Country Craft Creations Design Team Project!

 Here it is...the tutorial on this amazing album that can hold over 60 photos!

This is the second project I'm making for Country Craft Creations with the beautiful paper collection "Autumn Junque" by Photo Play. I made this album from 6 sheets of patterned paper and 4 sheets of coordinating cardstock . And this is part of my challenge...I split the patterned paper and coordinating cardstock in half to see if I could make a junk journal and an album...and I DID!!! My haul video My Junk Journal tutorial The full walk through on this Do-Si-Do Waterfall Album The Lay Flat Method for covering an album How to make a Stacked Waterfall Here is the cut guide, and its super simple. I used Kraft Artisan Cardstock (8 sheets) for the covers, the base pages and for mats and tags. I also used the Natural Artisan Cardstock (2 sheets) for photo mats and tags. Chipboard (Heavy Weight) 3 - 6 x 8 2 - 1 x 8 Cardstock to cover chipboard 3 - 8 x 10 2 - 4 x 10 2 - 5 x 7 7/8 Waterfalls (Made from the coordinating cardstock I received in my design team package, 4 sheets of 12 x 12 in 4 colors) 4 - 4 x 10 1/2 4 - 4 x 9 1/2 4 - 4 x 8 1/2 Pages 1 - 12 x 12 4 - 1 x 4 Tags, all are 4 x 6. I made a total of 8, 4 as mats and 4 as tags, with the Natural cardstock cut at 3 7/8 x 5 7/8 The Kraft and Natural Artisan were from my Country Craft Creations stash, as were two colors of additional seam binding I used, and the twine. Country Craft Creations Design Team FREE TUTORIAL, Autumn Junque Pamphlet Style Junk Journal

 I decided to challenge myself with this design team project. I divided the papers in half, and with one half I will make a mini album, and with this half, a junk journal! I have been MIA...But here's a catch up post!

 I am so very sorry.  I don't know why I haven't been here in so long.  Are you all still with me???  I hope you are...I have been busy, both in the crafty room and out of the crafty room...I just don't know about me sometimes... 😜

Today I thought I would just add the links to the videos I have done.  I hope that you follow me on YouTube and Instagram (links are below) so that you have already seen them. But just in case you haven't, here's what I have been up to lately.

First up, are my projects I made in August with papers I received from Country Craft Creations.  These are my design team projects, and I made a bunch of them!  I started with a desk organizer, made cards with a folio to hold them, and finally a mini album.

I also made this cute folio with the Lil Cowgirl paper collection, exclusively at Country Craft Creations.

This Loaded Tag Tutorial is part of my #paperstashsmash project and it is fun and easy and uses up all of those scraps!

Then I did this video...I thought I was done with trying new crafts, NOPE!  This is fun and easy and relaxing, and I have decided I really like to do it!  Have you tried Diamond Dot Painting?

Finally, just today, I have made this video sharing the unboxing of my newest Ieebee goodies, and I share the amazing things I made with them.  It's amazing what you can do with a bit of washi tape and wax!

 Hey Y'all! I was playing with the new Card Fronts available exclusively at Country Craft Creations and I came up with some beautiful Mermaid cards and a fun album. The album started as cards, but I quickly reversed course and made an album instead using 5 envelopes and 4 card blanks. I mashed the Country Vow card blanks with the Cowgirl Way paper collection to make a fun and quick album.

We have introduced the Cowgirl Way collection and the Country Vow Card Fronts during our Rodeo Roundup Crop event. I have a playlist that includes all of the videos for that event (all with free tutorials!), and you can access that here. I give all of the information and measurements in this tutorial for the Country Vow Envelope Album. I didn't write them up here. I had the gorgeous collection by 49 & Market, Nature's Haven, and made a great tutorial for a Trifold Folio Album.  Well, I also had some leftovers.  I made this gorgeous little mini waterfall album to start.  The folio was a blank made also by 49 & Market, and it was perfect. 

Then I made this beautiful 12 x 12 layout for two 4 x 6 photos.  I not only used the leftovers but also my new Anna Griffin Embossing Folders!

Here's a peek inside the album.  I had so many ephemera and laser cuts left over, I had to use them up!

Isn't it pretty!  I just love the paper collection and had so much fun using up all of the bits and pieces I could.

Country Craft Creations July Design Team Project!!! I'm using 49 & Market's Nature's Haven, Come See!

Hello! Here it is, the tutorial for my Country Craft Creations July design team project using 49 & Market's Nature's Haven collection. This is a gorgeous album that has a few fun new surprises. It is 6 x 8 with a 2" and a 1" spine. It also has no pages attached to the spines. All of the interactions are on the covers themselves. I think you will like it. I have a NEW design team project for COUNTRY CRAFT CREATIONS!

 For the month of June I worked with Simple Stories, Simple Vintage Woodlands,    and it is FABULOUS!

This is the perfect paper for a vacation, for anything really.  The colors are amazing and the images are adorable.  The FOX is just too cute!

The album is 8 x 10, has a 2 1/2" spine and 4 loaded pages.

Travel Junque Album...The Tutorial is LIVE!

Tonic Studio - Craft Perfect Mirror Card - 8.5"X11" 5/Pkg - Copper Mine The burlap jute twine is here, I received 2 yards of Natural Seam Binding, I received 2 yards of natural (I also used Chocolate Brown from my own Country Craft Creations stash) Ribbon, I received 2 yards of each of the following: 1 1/2” Bespoke Crinkle Iridescent Ribbon in Blue 1/8” Luster Satin Ribbon in Nude Prima Flowers, Lost in Wonderland Timeless Tales I used Coffee Brown Felt Artisan Cardstock (link below) for the base of my album (cover and pages). You will need about 15 sheets, or one pack. 2 sheets of heavy weight chipboard, link below… While you are at the store, don't forget your adhesives, cardstock, and chipboard...these are what I love to use: Art Glitter Glue Scor Tape

A bit of an update...

 I'm sorry, things have been busy...

I have a new design team package and did a video haul, you can see it here.

I am using an amazing collection, Photo Play's "Travel Junque" and it is fantastic.  It's perfect for any vacation adventures you want to document.

In the package I also received the new Country Craft Creations Card Fronts featuring the Country Bunny collection and it is so very sweet!

I made a Do-Si-Do notebook/journal with it, and have a tutorial that is quick and easy...another way to use the card fronts!

Have you seen the NEW Country Craft Creations Card Fronts??? I received the Country Bunny Card Fronts in my latest design team package and I thought of a different way to use them today. I really hope you like it. It doesn't take a lot of cardstock, I did use 4 card fronts to make two notebooks, and I added some Country Bunny Paper, a Country Craft Creations exclusive paper, to add some pockets. I used the pamphlet stitch in this project and will show you how to do that. All measurements are in the video as there really aren't many. Have fun!
