How I Doctor-up Baked Beans

I love making Baked Beans as a side dish for ‘picnic’ themed meals. I don’t’ think that there’s anything that goes with Bacon Cheese Burgers & Corn on the Cob better. But I don’t care for the way canned beans taste when they’re already seasoned. Besides, I’m diabetic & there is so much sugar in the canned baked beans that I’m sure I’d go into sugar shock.
