DSC#45 - Sunshine & Summertime

I'm late! Ugh! Story of my life this summer lol it's just been so hot that crafting even takes to much energy! The storms are coming through now and it has cooled off considerable. Off with the AC and open up those windows!! We have a new challenge at Digitally Sweet today! We're all about "Sunshine and Summertime" with Template Dreams. Myself and Ali both used the same kit, "water everywhere" so be sure to see the different takes on it. I took these photos of our daughter a couple weeks ago on the beach by our house and absolutely love them. She looks so grown up (she'll be 13 in Oct) and so beautiful. This was the night of her friends Gr 8 graduation and we took advantage of it and had her hair done. Just a moment to treasure as she moves into her last year of public school in Sept. Hard to believe. Both our kids will graduate in a year! One from Gr 8 and the other from Gr 12!

Today is my niece, Isabella, AKA Bella (Bunny) 2nd birthday! We're heading over later today to celebrate both her birthday and Easter. Looking fwd to it!! Here's another digital LO (can you say .. ADDICT!!?) that I did in honor of Bella's birthday!

I'm a little late today, but this week at Lasting Memories we're doing a sketch challenge! I loved this one. I did matte my photo's first, so then I had to get a little creative as they didn't fit! So I overlapped and love the look it gave. This is from our 2009 trip to Palmer Rapids when a friend of ours taught Ashleigh how to kayak and run the rapids. She had a blast!!! LMCB # 15 - Use Your Cricut (or die cuts)!!

Good morning!! Hope everyone has had a great wknd so far! So, this week at Lasting Memories, we're challenging you too get out your cricut (or die cuts) and use them on your layouts!! How fun is this?? For my layout, I used CTMH Tinkerin' paper pack/stickease and my Life's A Beach cartridge. The pattern is from CTMH "Magic" book. I thought it was perfect for this layout.
