May Arts & Lawn Fawn Blog Hop

Welcome to the May Arts & Lawn Fawn blog hop! We started this hop on Monday, so if you are just stopping by today, be sure to visit the May Arts & Lawn Fawn blogs to get the full lineup for the week!

When I was told we would be working with Lawn Fawn, I got excited, I was immediately drawn to the adorable "Admit One" stamp set. I paired it with the Lawn Fawn "Dewey Decimal" paper pad because the colors were bright and fun.

I decided to try my hand at some cards today. I can't take full credit for the idea, I stumbled across it on Pinterest and fell in love with the little paper bags as envelopes.

I added some of my favorite ribbon from May Arts, Teal Metallic Velvet (377-38-15) and Natural burlap string (SM09).

We are also having 2 giveaways of 3 spools of ribbon along with 1 stamp & die set. The first giveaway will take place Monday- Friday, the second will be over the weekend, Friday-Monday. Visit the May Arts blog for more details!

Don't forget to visit ribbonistas Erin Thiem and Leah Farrar-White who are also up today with some great projects!

Guest Designer at Sweet Stamp Shop!

Happy Monday everyone! Today I am the guest designer over at the Sweet Stamp Shop! If you haven't checked them out yet, you must! I just love Nicole's whimsical designs! A lot of the stamps are designs from her BEAUTIFUL handwriting! I wish I could write that pretty!

Anyways... here is my little project for today....

Yep, I made a little tag! I rarely do tags, but I had a BLAST making this one... here is part of the reason why I had so much fun:

I worked at the Creating Keepsakes Convention this weekend helping with set up, tear down, and also doing make & takes... so I did find a little time to shop in between... and yes, I found a new love... Distress stains!!! I already had the inks, but I picked up quite a few of the stains and sat down to play with them when I got home. LOVE THEM! There's so much you can do with these! I sat and watched youtube videos all day yesterday! I bought more from the convention, but honestly, I mostly bought inks for all of my fabulous new stamps that I've bought lately! Yes, prepare to see me get inky in the near future ;-)

The stamps that I used on my project are from Sweet Stamp Shop's Thanksgiving Owl-fits set. I didn't have ANY Thanksgiving stamps, so I was super excited to see these in this past release!

Fabulous Shoes & Fun With Stamps!

Happy Thursday everyone! I've been teasing people on my facebook page with little sneak peak images of my new albums. I had so much fun making these this week! I pulled out my embossing powders and played with some new stamps from Pink by Design, which were my inspiration for this album!

I've posted it before, but Pink by Design's Designer Boots stamp set is an amazing stamp set and a must have for all of you "girly girls" like myself! Look how cute this stamp set is!

Ok, enough teasing, here is my album that I made with this lovely stamp set. The paper is called Abbey Road by My Minds Eye, I thought it went perfect with this stamp set and what I wanted to do. I had an idea in my head for a while and I think it turned out great! What do you think?

This album is now available for purchase in my Etsy Shop.
