WeR Halloween Gift Bag w/ HA Embossed Cat Tag & PaintBrush Broom

Got creative on this Halloween Gift Bag & goodies. 

Used WeR Gift Bag Punch Board to make the gift bag. Made the bag Medium size. Made the handle using strips of black & orange. Embossed the orange strip with a Tim Holtz embossing folder for the word 'HALLOWEEN.' Attached handle with 2 black brads.

Heat embossed a Hero Arts cat stamp with Zing metallic pewter embossing powder. Stamped HA sentiment. Cut the sentiment tag out with a Spellbinders die. 

Made a witch's broom using a foam paint brush, the kind that Michaels sold for 5 cents each at the Grand Opening I went to last mth. Used Martha Stewart Fringe Scissors to cut the black cardstock for the broom, wrapped it around the foam brush. Added ribbon.

Added candy.

Witch's Halloween Broom

Created this Witch's Halloween Broom using a Tootsie Pop, chalk ink, marker, coffee filters, twine, tag & scissors.

The stick of the Tootsie Pop is painted black. You can use ink, a marker or paint. The 3 coffee filters are folded in half 3 times. The pointed part is the top. Scissors are used to cut the coffee filters from bottom partially to the top. A very small hole is cut with the scissors at the top to insert the Tootsie Pop. The wrapper on the Tootsie Pop is scrunched before inserting the Tootsie Roll stick into the hole in order to make it more snug. After inserting the Tootsie Pop into the coffee filters twine is used to secure the Toostie Pop inside. A tag is attached to the twine. The twine is let loose and not tied into a bow for a more raw look.

Stampin' Up: spider tag made with Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit. Bitty Banners die for tag sentiment "BOOOO", spider & BOOOO stamps are from Googly Ghouls, googly eyes
