Made this Sympathy card for an internet friend whose mom died recently. Friend likes Kraft cardstock. Stamped a CTMH sentiment and die cut fitting it end to end in the stitched die. Used a CMTH die for layered background. Added a flower & gem in center of flower. Used glossy accents on flower petals.

Sympathy Card - My Older Sister Died

Please click here for Tip Thursday 10/10 Not Craft Related but Important (is about my older sister who died 10/10/20). Please visit during the mth of Sept & Oct for new Tip Thursdays.

My older (by 1 yr, 2 mths) sister, Karen, died Sat morn 10/10/20. She lived in FL where the rest of my immediate family live. I'll be watching the funeral service live streamed due to not travelling because of Covid. I made cards & envelopes for Karen's husband, Karen's daughter & family, my brother & his wife, and my younger sister & her husband.

Deepest Sympathy One Layer Card

Made this one layer Mini Card using purple colors, a Hero Arts sentiment stamp, HA Butterfly stamp and embossing.
The base cardstock is lavender; more easily seen in person that in photograph.

Created this Sympathy card using Cuttlebug Moroccan Screen embossing folder that I liked for the cross embossing which is appropriate for this sympathy card. Used Tim Holtz Distress Inks to add rainbow colors to the embossing. Added Liquid Pearls. Used Mark's Finest Papers stamp for sentiment.

Sympathy Card w/ Patchwork Design

Created this Sympathy Card with a Patchwork Design.

Used a Mark's Finest Papers sentiment stamp. I cut the stamp to fit the hexagon space. Used Die-Namics hexagon border die to cut the patchwork pieces on left. Used Fiskars punch for the sentiment tag. Added lace.
