 What's Happening Thurs 6/24:

 1. Cricut Close To My Heart (CTMH) 

    Stars & Sparklers Pinwheel

    To get ready for the 4th of July you can make Pinwheels.

    You will need patriotic cardstock or patriotic paper (4" x 4"

     or whatever size you choose to make), a popsicle stick, 

     a tool like a Crop-A-Dile to punch a hole in the popsicle

     stick and a brad to assemble it with.

You Quack me up Card

Created this cute card with 'April Showers brings May Flowers' theme using cute Duck stamp.

Used colors: green, orange & yellow. Used Glossy accents for wet look. The Duck & pun sentiment are from one stamp set and the Pinwheel is from another stamp set. Used a button brad in center of Pinwheel. Used Stampin' Up punches for sentiment tag & sentiment tag layer. Used Easter craft sticker Daisies bought at Hobby Lobby in after easter sale 66% off.

Thinking of You Pinwheel Stampin' Up Card

Created this Thinking of You Pinwheel Card with all Stampin' Up products. Went out of my comfort zone creating this but with patience I was very pleased with the way it turned out. I thought it had a pretty quilted look to it.

Stampin' Up:
1.  Rich Raspberry 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
2.  Whisper White 4" x 5 1/4"
3.  Use Sycamore Street embossing folder to emboss along bottom edge of Whisper White
4.  Rich Raspberry 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" emboss this using Sycamore Street embossing fodler and
     punch out four 1 1/4" squares
5.  Punch out four  4 1/4" squares from Sycamore Street DSP
6.  Punch out eight Starfruit cardstock 1 3/8" squares
7.  Stamp sentiment "thinking of you" with Basic Black ink & punch out with Modern Label punch
8.  Mount DSP & embossed 1 1/4" squares onto 1 3/8" Summer Starfruit squares
9.  Place adhesive on all 8 squares
10. Lay two of the squares onto with DSP on Whisper White centering them approx 1/2" from
      the top - do not press down,
11. Take one of the embossed squares & place on point between the DSP squares,
     you will have the right square over half of the on point square.
12. Turn Whisper White & continue addign squares till pin wheel is formed.
13. Use paper piercer & make hole for brad in the middle of the pinwheel.
14. Add the brad
15. Mount on card.
16. Mount sentiment towards bottom right corner of card.
