St Pat Day Hat/Treat Contain

Made this St. Patrick's Day Hat/Treat Container using Close To My Heart items & Cricut.

Used Close To My Heart CTMH: Stamp Build-a-Plaid for green gingham look, cardstock (black, green, white). Used CTMH ink Clover. Used foil cardstock.

Used Cricut: Rectangle 5.759" x 2.533" with three 1/4" tabs, Shamrock 1.675" x 1.711" from Celebrate with Flourish, Buckle 0.765" sq with slits, Circle base 3.14" rnd and Circle inside to cover up tabs 2" rnd. Used trimmer & scissors to cut 6" x 3/8" black strip.

Will add some candy treats like skittles to put inside the hat/treat container.

Thanksgiving PilgrimHat Tag

Made the Pilgrim Hat out of felt first by stamping the Lawn Fawn Pilgrim Hat with white ink onto black felt. Wanted to make the Pilgrim Hat look more realistic so I figure I would paper piece. Tried to stamp partial of the hat as in the buckle onto gold foil using black ink. Used heat tool to dry the ink but that did not work; the ink smudged before I cut the buckle out. Decided to use my Cricut and cut the buckle out of gold foil. So glad I was able to cut the buckle at such a small size. Used ribbon for hat band.

Daisy's 10th Birthday Hat

My dog, Daisy, was rescued 3 yrs ago when she was 7 and since they did not have an exact birthday date I made her adoption/rescue date 8/6 her birthday. Today, she is 10 and I made her a birthday hat. She is not one to like toys much so for her gifts I got her Frosty Paws Peanut Butter flavor, Purina Black Label Pork/Bacon treats and Baker's dog cookie treats.

Notice how Daisy crosses her paws. She does that naturally. I've not known another dog to do this.
