CTMH - Folded Corner Pop-Up Flowers/Butterflies Card - CTMH Stitched Flowers, Layered Butterflies

Saw what was called a Folded Corner Pop-Up Card, watched a video and then tried to make and surprisingly I was able to make it in one try. I do not recall the person who made the card I saw or her video but if you google 'Folded Corner Pop-Up Card' you can find it.

Used all CTMH items and after today, Apr 30, 2024, CTMH is no longer. Mailed this card to thank my CTMH upline for her friendship and will continue to keep in touch with her online.

Today, I enjoyed participating in the Hero Arts Summer Stamp-Along. Online card class was by instructor Maria Willis.

Used Hero Arts 2021 Jan Mthly Kit. You may know I'm a fan of Bees.

HA inks blended, splattered & used Water Flower stencil on background. Can you see the Water Flow stencil?

Stamped Flowers on vellum, heat embossed (tip is to heat emboss from back/behind of the vellum) with silver embossing powder and die cut. Placed flowers on panels of Gatefold Card & trimmed off edges. This is a wonderful way to use vellum.

Stamped & heat embossed sentiment with white embossing powder. Stamped Bee with black & heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

PSL Card

I like Pumpkin Spice Latte PSL. Was happy when Starbucks announced PSL available Tues 8/25 which is earlier than last year of 8/28. Went inside Starbucks wearing my mask & ordered a PSL, tasted good but the drink temperature was warm and not hot. The barista guy was so busy trying to keep up with the drive thru drink orders that he did not make it hot. Well, yesterday I went to the Tom Thumb grocery store and they had the PSL for sale 4 to a packet for you to brew yourself. Ordered a Mango Dragonfruit drink and bought the PSL packets. Had a PSL yesterday evng using Keurig for hot water and frothed the cream (have a Keurig that has the frother that can make Latte or Cappucino). Was happy and I got points on my Starbucks app for the purchase of the PSL packets as well.

Made this card using a Simon stamp/die set, Fall Frenchies, I bought last yr and first time using. Used white gel pen to give the whipped cream a more realistic look. Embellished with flowers & gem.

For My Beautiful Friend CTMH Card

Made this using the CTMH July Stamp of the Month, For My Beautiful Friend, that is available thru end of day today 7/31.

The girl image reminds me of when I was younger and wore white socks with black & white saddle shoes to Catholic elementary school.

Had a mishap where the left edge of white cardstock had a raw edge when trimmed and did not notice until I had assembled the card so some washi tape which matches the flower theme came into play.

Daisies are a fav of mine. A neighbor gave me some Shasta Daisies to plant. Planted them in backyard couple yrs ago and they are greening up again this yr. Had to weed out the Morning Glories that showed up and spread/invasive like wildfire.
