Snoopy 4thJuly Face Mask

Sewed this face mask for me. Wore it today and got several compliments on it. Most know I'm a big Snoopy/Woodstock fan. Was pleased that the Snoopy on the doghouse was centered. Fabric is cut 15 1/2" x 8 1/2". Folded in half with right sides together is sewed 3/8" across top with a 2" opening. Turned inside out. Did not do pleats. Tuck in fabric edges and sew each end closed. Used my Crop-A-Dile to put the grommets in place and put yard thru the grommets.

metal - 4 pale blue grommets

other: blue yarn (put thru the grommets to go over the ears)

tool: Crop-A-Dile (to install the grommets)

Created this card with a Shabby Chic style for a friend that likes M&Ms. 

For my Shabby Chic style I used: brads, buttons, fabric that is an upholstery remnant that I got from a Live to Be Green Day couple of yrs ago that had a wonderful booth with all kinds of things and you could fill a plastic bag that they gave you for a $1 (I even know the Country of origin of the remnant which was written on the paper attached to it so ck below if you are interested in knowing also), gold inking, Kraft, lace & ribbon.

Die cut the jar multiple times: first from cereal box cardboard for sturdy base, M&Ms scrapbook paper for inside of jar and vellum. Die cut the jar lid from Kraft cardstock
 
Used the gold ink on jar lid & on edges of friend scrapbook paper on front flaps.

Embossed a piece of cardstock and cut out words: 'enjoy', 'friend', 'laugh' and 'unforgettable' to use on the card.

Stamped Joy's Life Yummy Puns sentiment on the vellum. 

Made a piece of cardstock as a band to slip over the card to hold the card closed.

Back to School Copy Fav Designer Card

Created this Back to School Card & copied it after 2 fav designers, Debbie M. who copied her card after Melissa P. for Kraft Journal challenge. 

Made my card a Back to School Card instead of an Autumn Card with elements like the cards created by Debbie M. & Melissa P.

I stamped the Snoopy Bus Driver on white cardstock & on acetate. Colored the white cardstock image with Stamp N Plus yellow chalk mixed w/ white acrylic paint and crayola Pencil colors. Placed the acetate stamped image over the white cardstock image. Cut the Snoopy Bus image out. 

Used Kraft cardstock for base. Used Chevron pattern paper; green for grass & blue for sky. Used chipboard recycled from a cardboard box for sentiment tag. Stamped Docerela Creations sentiment on sentiment tag. Stamped Basic Grey 'A+' on Kraft cardstock. Added fabric bow, twine & a heart locket.

Basket of Apples Bday Wishes Card

Created this Birthday card using Doodlecharms Cricut cartridge for Basket & Apples. Used Glossy accents on the apples. Added Tim Holtz brads/long fasteners to the basket. Stamped sentiment with Scrappy Moms Dancing in Circles 2 stamp that I selected in a prize win recently. Inked the edges of basket & sentiment tag with TH Distress ink walnut stain. Attached the sentiment tag with twine. Used a scrap piece of fabric from one of hubby's old shirt. Used a LifeStyle Crafts GooseBumpz embossing folder for basket weave background.

Owl Autumn MFP Simple Salut Card Ch14 Tweet Bird

Created this Owl Autumn Card for Mark's Finest Papers (MFP) Simple Salutations Challenge#14 Tweet Bird. Paper pieced the Owl cutting Owl out with scissors.

The Owl & "Autumn" sentiment are from MFP Autumn Splendor stamps.

Used Spellbinder dies for layers.

Gave the card texture using burlap, embossing, recycled piece of shiny paper from ATG adhesive refill tape & twine.
Discovered that you I could not stamp on the shiny paper; not even with StazOn.

Woodgrain embossing folder used on Kraft cardstock base & core'dinations cardstock layer.

Used Tim Holtz Vagabond to cut the leaves from TH Tattered Leaves using scraps of Autumn color cardstock. Used Stamp N Plus chalk on the leaves. If you have not heard of or seen this chalk please check out the Chalk-Ah-Lot Cafe Stamp N Plus store.

Scanned a page out of dictionary for the 'autumn' definition that I printed & trimmed.

Triple Ice Cream Cone Friend Card

Created this Triple Ice Cream Cone Friend Card using Neopolitan Ice Cream Colors (Chocolate, Strawberry & Vanilla), Paper Take Weekly sketch (see sketch below), Kraft cardstock, Nana's Kitchen matstack, Nana's Nursery Baby Girl matstack, triple sentiment (Fiskars stamps & Whimsical Designs stamps), embossed powder, bling, buttons, fabric (I won this trim from Charlotte of A little bit of detail site) and a little bit of this & that. 

I worked on this for quite awhile and started over a couple times with color choices.

Paper pieced the ice cream cones after stamping on Kraft cardstock & colored cardstock.Used Spellbinders for a mat behind the stamped ice cream cones. Added bling (to resemble ice cream drips), buttons (for the Neopolitan ice cream flavors), fabric (that somewhat resembles ice cream drips) & glitter (ice cream drips).

Created the triple sentiment using 2 different stamp stamps.
