Made this birthday card for Batleby "Bee" who will celebrate 2nd birthday (adopted at age 1) in Aug (no record of actual birthday so daughter using adoption day 8/14 as his birthday).

I added the string to complement the look of string on cat scratching post pictured on cardstock. Has a bit of a kite look to it.

Daughter brought Bartleby "Bee" over to our house using leash outside.

Used Newton's Nook Cosmic Newton for first time and used a sketch which you can see below.  Changed the sketch up a bit flipping it horizontally and using heat embossed stars for the top instead of ribbon/string/twine.

Saw Jupiter & Saturn Mon evng. With binoculars saw the 1/10% separation between the 2 planets. Was amazing.

Wrapped some Christmas presents and need more tags.

My hubby gave me an early Christmas present, a miroco Milk Frother, he bought on amazon. It warms up milk/cream, froths to make a latte, mixes & warms up hot chocolate by adding powder with milk and does cold frothing for frappes (not tried this option yet). I broke/cracked 2 lids on the Keurig frother which is part of our Keurig coffee maker. Stores sell replacements of the metal container with lid and online you can get the lid replacements but they are expensive either way and the lids are so fragile. The lid I currently have does work. I like the new frother for the way it stirs/mixes the hot chocolate with the milk and the temperature. I like the frother for the way it froths to make lattes.

 

Used Simon doodlebug stamp/die to make this Christmas Tag. Colored. I could not resist adding a Santa cup of hot chocolate with mini marshmallows (that is part of the stamp/die set) to this tag.

Steampunk Halloween Cat/Witch Hat hocus pocus Card

Created this Card with a Steampunk Halloween theme. Started with a brown base. Embossed Kraft with spider web. Used Distress Ink, ink spray & Distress Crackle Paint. Allowed time to dry. Stamped sentiment. Cut sentiment out using a banner die. Distressed sentiment tag with ink. Sanded cardstock for Cat & cut Cat die. Stamped witch hat twice; once on gray & once on purple. Paper pieced the purple for witch hat band/buckle. Added pattern paper to inside of card.
