Halloween Bat Tag

Bought Cricut digi cartridge, Creepy Critters, a couple weeks ago. Used Tim Holtz Crackle Paste with Bat stencil. Used CTMH Shimmer black & purple pens on some of the textured Bats. Can you find the Shimmer black & purple bats? When I went to cut the bat it moved it over the 3" edge so I canceled, rotated it and got it to fit within the 3" so it would cut on the 3" piece of cardstock. Used CTMH Shimmer purple pen on bat. Used Tim Holtz Distress Ink on ribbon which was orange so it would match with purple colors. Yes, I wore gloves.

Photograped with a pumpkin diorama my hubby made. Hubby is the talented pumpkin carver of styrofoam pumpkins which you can see on my blog sidebar. I have chosen the pumpkin stencil for him to carve and it is not a Pirate theme. Does anyone want to make a guess as to what the theme of the pumpkin will be? Stay tuned and you will see after he finishes.

trick or treat Halloween Bag

Made this Halloween Treat Bag using WeR Gift Bag Punch Board, Lawn Fawn stamps, embossing powder, Stampin' Up punch (for punching out Bat), Spellbinder die (sentiment tag) & twine. Made the Bag Small size 10" x 6". Used stamping emboss resist technique on the Bat.

Woodstock wearing Bat costume wings is ready for Halloween.

Bat Shaped Card & 2015 Halloween Carved Pumpkin

Was inspired by Laurie of Crafty Sisters Creations to create this Bat shaped Halloween card. You can click here to see Laurie's card.

Hubby started carving the 2015 Halloween pumpkin Fri 10/23 and finished Sat afternoon 10/24. Originally had planned a different carving but changed to this Pirate Ship in background & in foreground Pirate Skeleton with Sword. I especially like the detail of the skeleton bones holding the sword on right side and Skull and Crossbones on the ship flag on left. Since hubby finished this carving quicker than he thought he would he is also carving another and I'll reveal that one when it is done.

This is a 9" black styrofoam pumpkin bought at Michaels. 

Daisy even got into the Pirate theme dressing up and posing next to our Pirate Skeleton near front door.
