Selected this Lawn Fawn LF stamp/die set when I won at Dies R Us Father's Day challenge. Would like the fence die to have cut the middle white part out. I think next one I make I'll use my cutting knife. Made it interactive using LF Slider die. Hill scene is made using Simon Hills & Slopes dies. Have been practicing my coloring using markers.

Spring in TX means BlueBonnets Bday Card

Spring in TX means BlueBonnets. I have BlueBonnets growing in my backyard & you can see the photos below. The BlueBonnets are growing under our Mini Magnolia Tree. Daisy posed with bunny ears for an Easter photo. The Bees like the BlueBonnets and it is great to see & photograph them.

I'm still getting familiar with the new Cricut Explore and made this card with inspiration from Mary of Cardz TV who made a Butterfly Card like this.

Stamped the background inside with a BlueBonnet stamp & used Stampin' Up markers.

Thanks a melon Watermelon Tag

Created this Tag using red/white/blue colors. Used Kraft americana cardstock. Used Tim Holtz Tags. Used Fiskars Fresh Fruit stamp & Joy's Life stamp. Used Stampin'Up markers to stamp the Watermelon in black, red & green colors. Paper pieced the Watermelon by cutting out with scissors. Positioned the Watermelkon slices over the edge of the tag. Used Enamel accents on Watermelon seeds. Added ribbon & buttons.

You're berry Sweet! Strawberry Tag

Created this Tag using red/white/blue colors. Used Kraft americana cardstock. Used Tim Holtz Tag. Used Fiskars Fresh Fruit stamps. Used Stampin'Up markers to stamp the Strawberry in red & green colors. Paper pieced the Strawberry by cutting out with scissors. Used stickles on Strawberry. Back to School Charlotte Reads a Book Card

Created this Back to School Card using a digi, Charlotte reads a book, I selected from winning a challenge at Milk Coffee Cards. My Daughter that is a Junior in college studying Art Animation & Illustration likes to read so I'll be
sending the card to her.

Printed the digi on flesh colored cardstock & golden yellow cardstock. Cut the golden yellow part of the digi that was the hair and paper pieced it over the flesh cardstock. Colored the digi using Crayola Pencil Colors (Yellow) and Sharpie markers (red & green). Added white enamel accents (lace of dress).

Used white cardstock as base of card and red gingham scrapbbok paper as border. Added school theme ribbon. 

Used Fancy Frames Cricut cartridge that I found wonderful for matting frames. I did have to try some different sizes before I got it to fit what mine. The interior part is 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" and the matting frame I cut was 5 3/4"

Photographed the card with a book that my Daughter put on her Christmas/Birthday Wish List.
