Had an idea to layer up a card and this is what I created:

layer of white cardstock with Newton's Nook (NN) Tropical Fish stencil ink blended using Distress Inks,

layer of vellum with NN Retro Sun stencil ink blended using Distress Ink,

layer of pattern NN Springtime paper die cut with NN Frame Work die,

and

finished with hand written Calligraphy of sentiment on vellum:

                         May all your fishes

                               come true

I finished teaching 4 Calligraphy classes this Summer at local Rec Center.

Beach Palm Tree Tag - Newtons Nook RetroSun&PalmsSet SummerMoments

Made this Beach theme Tag and used stencil, Distress Inks, flicked some water on it, used a Tag die, used some markers, tore some Kraft paper, stamped a sentiment and added twine.

Grew up near the beaches (Cape Canaveral, Cocoa, Daytona, New Smyrna) in FL. Cape Canaveral Beach requires a pass to get on and has no condos, hotels or that sort of bldgs on it. When younger you could drive onto the beach. Last beach I was at was Galveston Island, TX and before that Pensacola, FL. Have you been to a beach & if yes where and when?

 Long time fan of Captain Jack Sparrow in the movie Pirates of the Caribbean. My daughter drew this sketch, her first of Captain Jack Sparrow, what seems like a life time ago (16 yrs ago). I made the map, distressed it, ink smooshed on map, sprayed with ink, sprayed water on it and dried it with heat gun. The scrapbook layout is Clean & Simple with background paper.

For a song theme there is the graduation song "Pomp & Circumstance." Made this grad card using Lawn Fawn stamp/die Hats Off To You for grad hat & sentiment heat embossed on vellum. Added a wobble for fun action since most grads toss their hats into the air. Used Grad Hat embossing folder & spritzed it with gold Perfect Pearls.
