I did not learn to sew correctly even though I took Home Economics in high school. I have a sewing machine but do not know how to thread it or operate it much at all.
I bought a Sew Easy tool with standard piercing wheel (which is pink) and one other piercing wheel (light green) quite some time ago. Had not used it because sometimes I do not know how to use what I buy and so then it just sits in my craft supplies area. Well, I decided to try it out. Decided I wanted to sew something small to give it a try. Used the Sew Easy light green piercing wheel since it resembled a pattern for a Sea Gull. Die cut some clouds and then used the Sew Easy light green piercing wheel on a cloud. Stitched the Sea Gull with black thread.
Got creative with tearing Kraft cardstock & using Tim Holtz Distress Ink for the beach sand. Used memory box die for the wave. Added Glossy accents on the wave. Used memory box die for the Palm Tree. Used TH Distress stickles on the trunk of the Palm Tree. Used a Martha Stewart punch for the Crabs. Used stickles on the Crabs' claws. Can you see the Enamel accents black used for the Crab's eyes? Used couple Martha Stewart punches for the Sun. Added stickles to the Sun. Used a Spellbinder for sentiment tag. Stamped sentiment using 2 different stamp sets.
