Seashell Theme Tag - Newtons Nook SeashellRoundabout SummerMoments

Made this Clean & Simple CAS Tag with a Seashell Theme. Recycled a tissue box that had wonderful colors on the box.

Photographed with some seashells I got from Red Lobster a year or so ago when the dish I ordered was served on the seashells. I asked the waiter what they did with the seashells and he said they would be tossed so  if I wanted I could have. I wrapped them in a napkin. They are part of my seashell collection in Master bathroom that has a Beach/Seashell theme.

 Used Tim Holtz 4th of July items that I have had for quite some time to make this Tag

Stamped the USA in VersaMark ink, used red/white/blue mixed embossing powder & heat tool. Used Distress Inks.

Stamped the sentiment in black ink, used clear embossing powder & heat tool for a sparkly look.

4th July Card

Belated Happy 4th of July weekend. 4th of July hubby (he is the grill master and the T bone steaks were awesome, he also made sweet potato casserole), daughter (she came over and had made a wonderful fruit cobbler), 

2 dogs (Daisy Rey & Holly Blossom enjoyed their pieces of steak I gave them, we do not give them bones, they also enjoyed the homemade treats I made using peanut butter & pumpkin) 

and I (I made the pasta salad & biscuits and washed all the dishes) celebrated at home. Weather was perfect; sunny & clear skies. Today, day after weather has been raining off & on with thunder & lighting.

We watched Hamilton on Disney channel and it is awesome. I found the words online so I can look at to understand more. We have enjoyed the Disney channel since subscribing in Jun. Watched the Mandolorian Star Wars episodes (watched all 8, did not binge, looking fwd to season 2 that is suppose to be in Oct) exclusive to the Disney channel. I'm fond of Child Yoda and was very fond of Yoda in the regular Star Wars.

Danse Macabre Halloween Card

Got inky using Tim Holtz Distress Inks for background. Used a large rubber stamp, Danse Macabre. Distressed using a sander the black with orange core'dinations cardstock. Added some black trim. Finished off the inside of card with paper & sentiment stamp.
