Get Well Flowers 3D Gift

Created this Get Well Flowers 3D Gift for a friend who is having surgery the end of this mth.

Used Cricut Sweet Tooth Boxes Cube Box. Recycled a piece of cracker box cardboard on inside. Poked holes into the cardboard. Stamped & die cut Stampin' Up flowers. Placed the flowers on toothpicks to put inside the box. Stamped Hero Arts sentiment & die cut sentiment with a SU die. Added twine & Reindeer Moss.

#2 Easter Basket & Alcohol Ink Easter Eggs

Decorated this Easter Basket of Easter Eggs inspired by Tim Holtz. You can click here to see how a white plastic Easter egg can be transformed by watching TH blog video.

Had made one of the baskets earlier and gave it as an Easter gift so I made a 2nd one to keep for myself. Cut the flowers with wire cutters. Weaved the flowers/greenery into the basket. Put Reindeer Moss inside basket. 

Colored the 2 blue eggs using blue inks & no mixative. Used same felt pad & alcohol inks. Liked that each are different & one is darker than the other.

Put the Alcohol Ink Easter Eggs in the basket. 

Stamped chicks from a popular Hobby Lobby wood stamp set that sold out at one HL here & there was only one more left after I bought last wk. Colored chicks with pencil color. Used Wink of Stella clear on the chicks eggs. Stamped sentiment.

Added ribbon.

Daisy & I wish you a Happy Easter. Photographed in my backyard where my BlueBonnets (isn't that appropriate since I colored blue Easter Eggs) are blooming. Thank goodness I photographed yesterday since it rained today. Did manage to walk Daisy after the rain stopped this morn. She has been walked every day since I adopted/rescued her from shelter in Aug of last yr.
