Before I stencil painted the capris blue jeans which you can see by clicking here I tested/practiced with stencils on paper. Decided to make a Tag using the practice stencil paint .

Took me a good while to make this card just right. Some of my stamping had ink smudges. Some of my die cutting with one oval die was cutting off a part of the chick on front so I switched to a different oval die & cut the oval first & then stamped. Then the scoring of the 1/8" on either side of the center is important for the honeycomb to fit & open properly. I did however stamp the egg on the honeycomb properly with the arrows in same direction. Used my go to scissors, Tim Holtz scissors, to cut the honeycomb paper. Glad I did not give up.
Used Crayola pencil colors. Did you know that Crayola announced they are going to retire the Dandelion crayon? Crayola also announced that they will have a new blue crayon and they are going to let the public name it.
