Recipe Old-Time Soft Sugar Cookies Tag

Recycled a couple of things when making this Recipe Tag. The Smidge Spoon circle at top left, the recipe and the word SUGAR came from a 4lb bag of sugar. Distressed the edges using Tim Holtz Distress Ink. Learned a new tip/trick to adding dimension which is to use recycled cardboard on backs of items instead of foam adhesive since the cardboard is less costly. Added the gems since I thought they had a vintage look & sparkled like sugar.

Aviator Kitty Birthday CASE Card

Some of you may know that I can pilot a plane but cannot ride a regular bicycle and if I do ride a bicycle it is a Tandem Bicycle like my hubby & I have. I gathered up my scraps and other supplies. Hot Air Balloon Birthday Card

Created this card first time using taylored expressions Sky's the Limit  Hot Air Balloon stamp set & dies.

Added stickles to the Hot Air Baloon for sparkle. Added ribbon.


What better way to photograph than outside where it is sunny here in Central TX. We had temps in 90s Wed, then 30s-40s Thurs & Fri it warmed up into the 50s and today it is warmer.

Friendship Tea Tag

One of my fav colors is blue. I made this Friendship Tea Tag using a Die-Namics die & stamp set. Added some ribbon.

Used Twinchies which in case you do not know are 2" squares.

Tea Party Tag

Created this Tea Party Tag with a Tea Party theme. Can be used for Tea Party part favors to give to guests.

My "Twos" are: 2 main colors - Black & White, 2 things that start with "T" - Tea Cup & Tea Pot and 2 different ribbons - Black/White with Tea Cups & White.

Added some Glossy accents to the Tea Cup for Tea liquid/wet look.

Birthday Card with Many Ribbons Card

Created this Birthday Card trying the technique of using ink on white cardstock of a die shape with the die still attached that then gives you a white border. Have seen others do this including Susan of Expression Avenue and you can see her blog if you click here. I'm not recalling or finding the Poodle card she created that she showed me recently using this technique. I do not think I've tried this before. I taped the die to the cardstock to make it more secure when using the Tim Holtz Distress Ink tumbled glass for blue sky on white layer on Kraft cardstock base.

Used a Die-namics Cloud Trio die I had selected from a prize win. I do not think I've used it before. Cut ribbon & added to the clouds. I had seen a card on the Internet with ribbon strips from clouds but I did not write down who it was by. If anyone knows please let me know so I can give credit for the inspiration and list the link.

You're My Cup of Tea Card

I'm a tea drinker and so I created this "You're My Cup of Tea" Card. My fav tea is Luzianne Decaf tea.  The hard part is finding the individual tea bags in the decaf variety. A lot of stores sell the regular Luzianne Tea but only one store here sells the Decaf. There use to be nan English breakfast tea made by a company in PA that I liked but I do not believe it is made anymore.

Used a new set of dies & stamps, Die-namics Always Time for Tea, that I bought at overstock.com.

Used DCWV Nana's Kitchen Matstack patterned cardstock that has glitter on it. Used Stampin' Up Bitty Banners for sentiment tag. Stamped sentiment "You're My Cup of Tea." Embossed the top portion of the green layer with Cuttlebug D'vine Swirl for a steam swirl look. Added some pearls.
