Natl Zoo Wash DC Panda Cub Bei Bei Scrapbook Layout

Back from a mini vacation to Washington DC with hubby. Enjoyed seeing & photographing the Panda Cub Bei Bei at the National Zoo in Washington D.C..

Hubby drove. Airfare & car rental was higher than what we wanted to spend. Spent the night in Nashville, TN 1/2 way 12 hr drive from Central TX. Slightly <12 hr drive & we arrived at in Rockville, MD. Drove car to Rockville, MD Metro station. Rode the Metro to the Zoo.

When we arrived Bei Bei was up a tree. Once he learned to climb the staff says he goes up the tree first thing. Top right photo is Bei Bei up in the tree.

Panda Pals Miss You Tag

I'm fond of Pandas and so I got out my Craftin Desert Diva Panda Pals stamp/die set to make this Tag.

Used a Simon Says Stamp die for oval. Watercolored the background using Stampin' Up inks & Tim Holtz Waterbrush Detailer Tip. Stamped an unknown brand Bamboo stamp & watercolored the Bamboo.

Stamped Panda & sentiment, colored Panda w/ Crayola pencil colors & die cut Panda out. Added a silver glitter heart. Added ribbons.
