Halloween 2017 Carved Pumpkin - Part 1 - Drawing

Each Halloween since 1992 my hubby has carved pumpkin(s). 1992 - 2005 hubby carved real pumpkins.
Then in 2005 he also carved a styrofoam pumpkin (the kind the craft stores sell). First 2005 pumpkin carved had words Trick or Treat on it. Since then he has carved Johnny Depp characters: Captain Jack Sparrow, the Mad Hatter, Sweeney Todd and Edward Scissorhands. Hubby started carving them by cutting out the areas completely and then changed to using a Dremmel tool to shave only some of the pumpkin surface. Most of the patterns were bought online. You can see several of the carved pumpkins photos on my blog right sidebar. This year using a tall white pumpkin he used a free image and turned it into a carving on his own. I'm going to make this into several blog posts with this part 1 showing the drawing on the pumpkin before carving is done. Come back later as I will show the carving in progress thru the completed carving.

Lazy days ATC

Created this Artist Trading Card ATC 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" piece of artwork using Fresh Brewed Designs digi, Relax 2, that I selected in a prize win last wk. Used color scheme of the Kraft Journal challenge this wk that you can see below that reminded me of a sunset and perfect for this digi ATC.

Colored the digi w/ Crayola & MIchaels brand pencil colors. Used layers of cardstock.  Stamped the K Andrew Designs Splash-tastic Summer sentiment 'lazy days.'

Photographed the ATC in my bathroom that is done in a Beach wallpaper theme.

Added sparkle/glitter look w/ stickles.

Michaels Thanksgiving Day Cricut Cartidges Sale

Received the Michaels Thanksgiving Sale ad
in the mail today. The Cricut cartridges are $24.99.
The sale starts Thanksgiving Day Thurs 11/27
4pm - 10pm. Picture shows Ribbons & Rosettes,
Noah's Ark Animals & Art Nouveau. I knew they
were having a sale & the price but did not know
it was on Thanksgiving day and did not know it
would start at 4pm.

Also received the Big Lots ad and there are no
Cricut cartridges on sale. Last yr I got a few older
