Christmas Joy Wreath

Merry Christmas!

Today I'm sharing the last Christmas card I made this year.  It uses several dies, the Nativity Joy is from InLoveArtShop and wreath from Amazon plus a woodgrain embossing folder from Stampin' UP!

I cut 2 wreaths out of 2 shades of cardstock, PTI Ripe Avocado and Olive Twist and layered them.  The bow and Joy Nativity are cut from PTI Pure Poppy.  

The White panel was run though the BigShot using Pinewood Planks Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  The embossed panel is layered on a PTI Olive Twist base card.  Then I added the layered wreath.  The Red Joy was added with pop dots.  Lastly, I added a few red gems to the wreath to finish.

Unity - Everything Stronger Sympathy

Happy Saturday!

Today I have a sympathy card to share using a Unity stamp set - Everything Stronger.  The sentiment was stamped in PTI Enchanted Evening ink on PTI white cardstock.  I die cut the sentiment using a SU Stampin' cut and Emboss dies.  The rectangular mat cardstock is PTI Enchanted Evening.  I punched 2 holes on the tag and added threaded a white ribbon through, finishing with a bow.

The embossed panel was done with Spellbinders 3DEmbossing Folder - Beautiful Blooms.  Love this embossing folder.  The mat cardstock is PTI Enchanted Evening.

Stampin' UP! Dragonfly Garden

A Random Fan - Summer Scent Birthday

 

Happy Saturday!

Today, I have a birthday card to share that uses a lot of different techniques, die cuts, embossing folder, digital image and Copic coloring.  I started this card back in November when some friend came for a stamping weekend.  We were trying out some new embossing folders and die cuts.  The embossing folder is from Stampin' UP! Scattered Sequins, which was on clearance.  The die cut Happy Birthday banner is from Spellbinders, also on clearance.

It is a fun die, although a lot of separate pieces and folding them over to string on the twine.  I think it is a neat effect though.  I glued the bottom half so the letter spacing was adjustable.

I added the image months later, closer to my grand-niece's birthday in March.  I was going through my digital images and found this one from A Random Fan - Summer Scent.  I hadn't used a digital image in awhile so I printed several different images and started coloring while watching TV.

Unity Stamps - Celebrate the New #2

 Happy Saturday!

Today I have a birthday card I made for a friend's daughter who will be 14 years old this week.   I used a set from Unity Stamps - "Celebrate the New"

It was fun to color and simple to color too.  I added some stitching around the border.  The patterned paper is Stampin UP! and is perfect for her because she is really into stamping and coloring with alcohol markers. The cardstock is PTI Amethyst Allure, her favorite color, purple.

Stampin UP! - Forever Blossoms Wedding

Happy Saturday!

Today I have a wedding card I made for my brother.  My brother is getting married, which is so exciting!!  I used Stampin UP! "Forever Blossoms". 

I also got out some of my favorite Angel Company papers "Emma", which I have been hoarding for about 10+ years, for just an occasion like this!  When Christine showed me her Fall wedding colors, TAC Emma papers is the first thing that came to mind.  I LOVE that color pallete.  It was one of the last new TAC papers before the company closed.

Unity - Celebrate the New

Stampin' Up! - Art Gallery

 Happy Mother's Day Weekend!

Today I have a card made using Stampin' UP! "Art Gallery".  I used Impress markers to apply ink to the stamp, blending Lilac and Peony Purple for the bloom and Spring Green and Emerald on the leaves.

I added some stitching to the main image and also some spring green and white bakers twine. The cardstock is Bazzill Grape Slush, PTI Lilac Grace and the gingham paper is MFT Gingham Galore.

Stampin' UP! - Bonanza Buddies Lion

Stampin' UP! : Honey Bee Birthday

Happy Saturday!

Today, I have the birthday card I made for my sister-in-law Debbie using Stampin' UP! Honey Bee Bundle and also Stitched So Sweetly die set.  She collects bee items, so I think she will really like this special card I made for a special birthday.

The bee element dies are so fun.  I created vellum wings and pieced together the black and yellow body.  The honeycomb is layered with vellum between the black and yellow cardstock to create a wax-like appearance.

Today, is my sister's birthday and this is the card I made for her. 

I used Stampin' UP! - Grace's Garden stamp and die bundle, also Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  The cluster of flowers are 3 stamps and dies, layered 

and colored with Arteza Real Brush Watercolors.

My Minds Eye - Anniversary Card

Happy Saturday!

It has been a while since I posted a new card.  

I was able to stamp a bit the last couple weekends. 

This card is for some friends who celebrate their 

20th wedding anniversary Wednesday.

I made this card from scrap paper.  

The polka dot paper was literally on the floor of my craftroom.

Both are from a My Minds Eye paper pack "On the Bright Side",

 I found on clearance at Hobby Lobby.

I used a new die cut from Stampin' UP - Stitched So Sweetly.

The row of heart die is one I found on Amazon.

The sentiment is from PaperTrey Ink - Fillable Frames #4.

Stampin' UP - Home to Roost

Happy Saturday!

Today I have a birthday card to share.  During Stampin' Ups Sale-a-bration last Spring I bought a few things and this set, Home to Roost, was free with my purchase.  

I used my Arteza watercolor pens.  I really love these pens, so easy to use and such vibrant colors.  The papers are PaperTrey Ink, Black, Hawaiian Shores and Pure Poppy.

Stampin' UP - By the Seaside

Happy Saturday!

Today, I have my husband's birthday card to share.  The set is from Stampin' UP - By the Seaside.  This set reminds me of a trip to the outer banks a couple years ago.  

Papers are PaperTrey Ink Kraft and white.  I colored this card with Copic markers.   I colored the whole image on the larger of the 2 white pieces of cardstock, then cut the image out with a stitched stacking die and layered it.

Mother's Day 2019 - PTI Simple Sunflower

Happy Saturday!

Happy Mother's Day too!  This is the card I made for Mother's Day this year.  I used a few new things I got this year.  The embossed background is from Stampin' UP! called Tin tile embossing folder.  It makes a beautiful backdrop.  The sunflower stamp set is from PaperTrey Ink - Simple Sunflower Mini Stamp Set. 

The inks are PTI Bright Buttercup, Dark Chocolate and Ripe Avocado.  I cut the flowers out by hand, sadly my Brother Scan N Cut could not recognized the yellow ink.  It was too light to pick up.

Anniversary Card 2019

Happy Saturday!

Monday was our 19th wedding anniversary and this is the card I made for Mark.  He loved it.  I used the new gear die from Stampin' UP! and paired it with some stitched heart dies. It was a neat idea I saw on Pinterest.

Stampin' UP - All Geared Up Birthday

Happy Saturday!

Today I have a masculine birthday card to share.  A friends had a Stampin' UP party and I ordered a few things.  This card uses the All Geared Up Garage bundle, which was the stamp set with coordinating dies plus gear dies.

I used Bazzill metallic bronze cardstock for the gear die cut.  The muscle car was stamped with Memento black, colored with Copic markers and cut out with my Brother Scan N Cut.

There was an oil spill or smudge stamp which I used VersaMark watermark ink on both the PTI Smokey Shadow base card and the PTI Kraft banner.  Then stamped a few nuts and the "All Geared Up to Celebrate" sentiment in Black Memento Ink.
