Unity - Winged Expressions Birthday

Happy Saturday!

Today, I have a birthday card I made with Uniquely Unity July stamp of the Month  - Winged Expressions.  I used a paper pad from My Mind's Eye "Graceful"; 4 different patterns from this paper pad.

I stamped the image on a piece of yellow patterned paper and colored the butterfly with Copic markers.  Colors: R56, R81, R83, R85, BG72, BG75.
I tore the edges top and bottom and layered it on a couple more patterned papers with torn edges.  This layering technique is a great way use leftover paper scraps.

The Crafts Meow - Natures Beauty

Today, I have the June card of encouragement for my homebound ministry.  I used a set I had for some time.  It is from The Craft's Meow and called Nature's Beauty, which I believe is retired.  I could not find it.  It is very possible I bought from the clearance section last summer.

I stamped the flowers 3 times, starting with the light blue, then green and lastly black.  I sponged some blue and green ink to fill in the gaps after I stamped the blue image.

Little Miss Muffet - Monday Inspiration

Today, I have some Monday Inspiration for the Little Miss Muffet design team.  Lots of exciting news at Little Miss Muffet, a new project team is starting to add to the challenge team.  I was asked to create something for the project team's Monday's Inspiration post this week.

So here it is... Agent Cupcake the 3rd in the trio.  I paired her with a designer paper from Simple Stories called "Fabulous".  All 3 patterned papers are from the Fabulous paper pack.  I added stitching to the 3 panels and cut out butterflies from another piece of paper and added them to the base panel.

Grand Opening: Day 2 ~ Techniques

Today is day 2 of our Grand Opening Celebration.  It is technique Tuesday.  I chose a coloring technique - chalks.  The butterfly is paper pieced and I did some dry embossing too.

I printed out the butterfly twice - cut out one and layered it on the second image.  I colored the wings with chalk.

The base card is dry embossed with a texture plate, then I dragged a VersaMark ink pad over the embossed pattern to make it really stand out.  These new texture plates TAC carries really give a beautiful and deep impression - LOVE them.

This is a super easy any occasion card - great to keep on hand just in case something comes up.

The image is from DDH Pansies, which is a new DDH set this week.

Supplies -- DDH Pansies, Papers: Black cardstock, Swimming Pool cardstock, Postal texture plate, Amberley Grace ribbon, Basic Brights chalk, VersaMark ink.

Tomorrow we will be featuring birthday cards so check back.

More Birthday cards

We have so many birthdays in November.  Here are a few more birthday card ideas.  First, I used "Delightfully Spooky" which is actually a Halloween set but I love this little butterfly girl.  I think you can use her anytime she is so cute.  Very simple using the Caboodles Copic Set C and coordinating cardstock.  This is where all the work The Angel Company did matching the markers to the cardstock makes creating a card so easy.

Next card, I used "Theo". This cat is little crazy, but when he is colored he comes to life.

Stamp: Theo

--Copics Used--
Cat: E31, E35, E51, E04
Chair: E55, E57, E59
Net: N1, N4

Paper: Bazzill Grays

The background is light blue chalk on this card.  Another neat technique we learned at TAC's Coloring class.  We experimented with mixed mediums, using chalks and colored pencil with Copics.

Hope you enjoy!
Blessings
