Together Forever from this Day Forward
Today I have another ring card for you. You can see the first one I posted HERE. The diamond is a Sweet Stamp Shop stamp however they no longer sell it. I think that you could use THIS one by Ellen Hutson or THIS die set or Lawn Fawn has a new wedding set.
The actual ring is platinum heat embossed white cardstock that I did a Jennifer McGuire trick by taking the Versa Mark ink pad and patting it onto white cardstock in a large enough area to fit my circle punches. I punched a small circle first and then a larger circle just outside the small circle to make a ring. I used punches by Creative Memories and EK Success.
The background of the card was also heat embossed in platinum. The background stamp is by Hero Arts and the watercolor paper is by Ranger. Then I watercolored the background with Black Soot distress ink and water. I cut the embossed piece down and matted it with black cardstock by Recollections. The die cut the ring is on is by Spellbinders. The sentiment is a rub on by Kaisercrafts that I put on vellum by The Paper Studio.

Mr. and Mrs.
Today I have another ring card for you. You can see the first one I posted HERE. The diamond is a Sweet Stamp Shop stamp however they no longer sell it. I think that you could use THIS one by Ellen Hutson or THIS die set or Lawn Fawn has a new stamp set.
The actual ring is silver heat embossed white cardstock that I did a Jennifer McGuire trick by taking the Versa Mark ink pad and patting it onto white cardstock in a large enough area to fit my circle punches. I then punched a small circle first and then a larger circle just outside the small circle to make a ring. I used punches by Creative Memories and EK Success.
The background is a Hero Arts stamp that I heat embossed with silver embossing powder also by Hero Arts. The scalloped circles dies are by Spellbinders and the white pearls are by Want 2 Scrap. The border on the bottom is Recollections cardstock and a Tim Holtx border die. The purple pearls on the bottom are by Eyelet Outlet. The sentiment is patterned paper by The Paper Studio. I erased the edges to make appear dreamier then just regular old silver.
Thanks for looking.

The sentiment stamp is on a scrap of black paper from my stash. The stamp itself is by American Crafts that I heat embossed with silver embossing powder.

Together Forever
Today I have another ring card for you. You can see the first one I posted HERE. The diamond is a Sweet Stamp Shop stamp however they no longer sell it. I think that you could use THIS one by Ellen Hutson or THIS die set or Lawn Fawn has a new set.
The actual ring is gold heat embossed white cardstock that I did a Jennifer McGuire trick by taking the Versa Mark ink pad and patting it onto white cardstock in a large enough area to fit my circle punches. I punched a small circle first and then a larger circle just outside the small circle to make a ring. I used punches by Creative Memories and EK Success.
The rest of my card uses die cuts by Spellbinders and on the kraft colored cardstock I inked it with distress ink in the center and sprayed with water mixed with gold Perfect Pearls. The top paper is by Colorbok and the bottom paper is recycled packaging.

You Light up my Life
I made this card using a stamp set from Sweet Stamp Shoppe. Unfortunately they no longer sell this stamp set but here is a link to their shop Sweet Stamp Shop. They have a lot of fun stamps.
For this card I did a double embossing technique where I masked off the parts I didn't want to be blue and heat embossed the Ranger blue embossing powder. Then I came in again and just inked up the parts I wanted and re stamped the parts I wanted yellow. Yellow embossing powder by Stamp N Plus. After that I die cut the image with a Design Objectives die and inked the inside with distress ink before adding it to my card with foam adhesive.
The flower on the top and bottom started off as white Bazzill flowers that I colored in with a Copic marker. Then I cut it in half and tucked it under the die cut. My patterned papers are by Studio G {Yellow} and Creative Memories {Blue}.
Thanks for looking.

Wedding Day Ring Card
For today's card I did some heat embossing. First is the background with a Hero Arts stamp, second is the diamond by Sweet Stamp Shop {they no longer sell this set and I couldn't find an image of it either} and third is the ring itself. I used the same gold embossing powders by Stamp N Plus for all three. To make the ring I inked up an area with Versa Mark ink, poured embossing powder over it and heat embossed that area. I took a small circle punch and cut out a small circle then went in to the same area and punched a large circle. The circle punches are by Creative Memories and then EK Success. The die cuts the ring is on are by Spellbinders, kraft cardstock by Oriental Trading Co, and the sentiment sticker is by EK Success.

Sweet Stamps Anchor Card
I used the Speech Bubbles set by Sweet Stamp Shop for the border at the top and bottom. I used the bubble just above the words No Way. It was a fun surprise to have the nib shape appear after overlapping the bubbles in different colors. I used Stampin Up inks for the borders.
The sentiment stamp is also by Sweet Stamp Shop but the set was discontinued recently. I stamped the sentiment with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with a sage colored embossing powder. Then I die cut it out with a Design Objectives die and inked the inside of the die cut while still in the die. Then I sprayed it with water mixed with Perfect Pearls to give it that watery look.
The greenish patterned paper is by K and Co and the journal box behind the sentiment is by Project Life. I die cut the helm out of Recollections kraft cardstock using the Life's a Beach cartridge and my Cricut.

Cupcakes Card
Hi there. I have over 100 drafts in my Blogger posts page so I thought it was time to either show or delete these cards. This one I used stamps from Sweet Stamp Shop but they were discontinued but here is a link to their SHOP. The background patterned paper is by Recollections and the paper on top of that is by Studio G. For the cupcakes I created a mask and just stamped them on right next to the other moving the mask over one as I stamped the next color. The used inks by Stampin Up for the cupcakes. The green cardstock is white that has been inked with Distress ink by Ranger and then I used stickers by Sticko/EK Success for the rest of the sentiment. Hope you like it.
Thanks for looking.

Lighthouse Sweet Stamp Shop
Today's card features a stamp by Sweet Stamp Shop called Sail Away Sayings. I stamped i he lighthouse with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder by Stamp N Plus onto watercolor paper by Ranger. I die cut the image out with a Spellbinders scallop circle die and inked the inside with distress ink while the paper was still in the die. Then I decided it needed something more. I took a Tim Holtz stencil that has sun rays on it and inked them in yellow coming off the top of the lighthouse. That looked pretty but I couldn't see the lighthouse very well since I embossed it in white. So I took one of my brown distress markers by Ranger and lightly followed the outlined of the lighthouse including the stripes in the lighthouse. Then I added some water with my water pen and pulled the ink from the marker out away from the lighthouse which made the marker area not so bright. I liked the way it turned out but then I thought to use a blue distress ink and a water pen to color in the word light. OK complete with the image.
The background paper is by Recollections and it is dry embossed. The yellow cardstock is by Bazzill and the blue scalloped circle paper is by Color-Aid. The polka dot paper is by Colorbok and the pennant paper is unknown. The sentiment stamp is in another Sweet Stamp Shop stamp set (Discontinued though, sorry) and I stamped it with Hero Arts black ink.
Thanks for looking.

For today's card I am using a stamp set by Sweet Stamp Shop.I stamped the image onto white cardstock by Recollections with Versa Mark ink and then heat embossed it with Ranger blue glass embossing powder. I die cut the image out with a rounded edge square die by Spellbinders and inked the inside edges of the die cut. Then the die behind that is by DO Crafts out of patterned paper by Studio G. The yellow patterned paper is also by Studio G and the blue polka dot paper is by Creative Memories. I embellished with some blue sequins and star die cuts by Lawn Fawn.

Sweet Stamp Shop Grand Reopening
Sweet Stamp Shop is having a Grand Reopening Celebration and I am a guest designer for the event.
I used the
stamp set for my card. I stamped the saying with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with sparkly blue embossing powder by Stamp N Stuff. Then I die cut it out with an X Cut/Do Crafts die and inked the inside with Ranger's distress ink. I also die cut the next largest die to mat behind it.
The background is a stencil by Dreamweaver Stencils. I ran it through my die cut machine {Cuttlebug} to emboss the pattern onto my white cardstock. I then taped the paper and stencil to my work surface and brought in color with my ink blending tool and distress ink. I matted the background onto the blue cardstock and then onto my card base by Recollections with an 1/8 of an inch gap at the top and bottom.
Thanks for looking.

Manly Monday Train
Welcome back to Manly Monday. Thank you to all the wonderful bloggers that allowed me to share their card last week. Having the younger and older posts was awesome to have double the inspiration and also depending on who you make masculine cards for you could focus on one post more than the other.
So without further ado here are this week's cards. Please click on the blog name to be directed to the masculine card.
What did I do Today? {scroll down}
So for my card I used Simon Says Stamp challenge as my inspiration plus I had this new stamp set that needed to be used. I stamped the train onto white cardstock with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with silver embossing powder by myStamp Box. Then train stamp is by Tim Holtz/Ranger Industries. I then matted the stamped image onto black cardstock. I dry embossed the grey cardstock with a Darice embossing folder. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment by Sweet Stamp Shop in the same way as above onto a Lifestyle Crafts die. All of my cardstock is by Recollections.
And that's it. One thing I like about making masculine cards is there aren't a lot of steps.
Thanks for stopping by.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 5 Sheri
This card is based on Sheri Carroll's paper piecing and layering those pieces with dimensional adhesive. The stamp is by Inkadinkado which I colored with some with Copic markers. I love the polka dot patterned paper in the center. The green paper is patterned paper that I colored with the Copics which was a little different from what I normally do.
The sentiment is by Sweet Stamp Shop in the Easily Distracted stamp set. I inked some white cardstock and covered it with gold embossing powder by Stamp N Plus. Then I took the stamp and stamped the embossing powder to remove the powder around that stamp. Then I heat embossed the area.
Thanks for looking.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 7 Laura
I have another card for you based on the Stretch Your Stamps 2 card class I am taking. This one is about graphic stamps and how to use them to create other shapes. Well that's what I got out of it. Now I just sya I'm not a fan of rainbows in my stuff. I think it looks great on other people but I don't particular care for them. With that being said I stepped outside my box/comfort zone and went with rainbow for this card. I think it turned out kind of cute.
I used THIS stamp set by Sweet Stamps Shop. The image I used for the rainbows is the diamond and I stamped it in a circle with 5 different colors. After I finished the rainbow didn't really look complete without some sort of purple. So I added the little circle with a circle in it {Looks like a sequin!!} to the center of each shape and a couple outside. Then I cut my sentiment stamp and stamped it in black on the bottom. The purple cardstock is by Bazzill.
So have a great weekend and stop back in often this weekend because I am getting through the rest of the class and will be posting more examples.
