1971 Paisley Pocket Page and Scrapbook Layout

I have to say, It was fun to use purple.

I used my Cricut to make the year die-cut
The paper is a bold color and I think it makes the number stand out.
Under the year, are 2 layers of patterned paper by Creative Memories

The paisley patterned paper is by Die Cuts With a View
Other patterned papers that are here and there are by Creative Memories and Crate Paper.

On the second page, I used stamps by Close to my Heart for the year.
I really like this stamp set because it has great bold numbers in easy to read fonts.
The black ink by Hero Arts also helps to make it stand out.

The right side border includes:
The Die Cuts with a View paisley paper
Creative Memories paper and journal box
Border punch by Fiskars.
Striped paper by Colorbok
Epoxy circles on top and bottom of the date are by Miss Elizabeth's.

Here's my 2-page spread all together

Same photo for a different book.

Thanks for looking

Hello

For my card I used a Deep Red Stamp from THIS stamp set.I love how versatile this stamp set is. Super fun for ladies cards, my mom in particular. The supplies I used for this card: cardstock is by Recollections and CGull, patterned paper by My Mind's Eye, with the top portion I dry embossed it with a Darice embossing folder, washi tape separating the two halves is also by Darice. The white lacy die cut in the background was cute out using my Cricut with the Art Philosophy cartridge Font layer size 4". The stamped image is stamped and inked with Ranger Distress ink on a Spellbinders die cut. The hello sticker is by Three bugs in a Rug, flower sticker by Martha Stewart and little brown epoxy circle sticker is by Miss Elizabeth's. The sequin stars are from my stash.

That's my card for today and I thank you for stopping by.

Sew Much Joy

I'm featuring a new to me stamp company called Deep Red. They make all kinds of images for an flavor of  stamping taste you have.

For my card I used THIS stamp set that I heat embossed using Ranger embossing powder and Versa Mark ink. I used a blending tool and distress ink by Ranger around the edges and then mounted it onto some Recollections cardstock. The image is raised up with foam adhesive.

The background paper is by My Mind's Eye and the sewn cardstock is by Oriental Trading Co. All the other cardstock is by Recollections. The lace for my card is by Prima and the silhouette embellishment is by Recollections. I used a Studio 112 label die cut for my sentiment and the letter stickers are by Miss Elizabeth's.

Thanks for checking out my card.
