Hearts Patterned paper Love you card

The patterned paper is by Recollections, and the hearts were cut out using dies by eBay, Papertrey Ink, Cricut, and a punch by Creative Memories. The I Love You stamp is by Forever in Time.
My card today was made as an example for my niece. Last month she did a collection for the American Heart Association. I sent her some card stuff so she could create some awesome thank-you cards for those people that donated.
Thanks for looking.

Manly Monday Tree die cut Cards

For both cards, the background stamps are from Stampin Up. On the first card, the Forever in Time green cardstock is ugly. It’s from my Mother’s stash and I’ve been trying to find ways to use it-Like use it as a layer or alter it with stamps and inks. I’m open to other ideas you may have any. Please.

This is the negative of a Cricut cut that I stamped with a bright green ink to see how it was going to look. Well, terrible. I used the other side of the paper for that Cricut cut and thought I’d and use the negative for mountains. It sort of worked. I used brown distress ink to ink the smaller tree and ink the scallops to be more convincing and then said, done. I inked the sky with blue distress ink and again, done. I stamped a Lawn Fawn sentiment at the bottom, and done, done with card one.
The second card, same thing, background stamp, inked the middle tree but this time I used foam adhesive to give it dimension. The sentiment is from Michael’s dollar bin, the patterned paper is unknown, and the tree die cuts are from eBay.
I’ve been told, Guys don’t care about the fine details. So…done.  Thanks for reading and looking.
I’m entering the cards into a few challenges.

Manly Monday Yellow Sympathy Cards

I made these for a male colleague whose father passed away. I think they work well for a dude and that's why I'm posting them for Manly Monday. The patterned paper is by K and Co, the Danny O 12x12 double-sided designer paper. I've used it a few times in the Groh Boy Books.
The sympathy stamp on the first card is by Fiskars and it is stamped onto a Spellbinders die cut. The
sentiment stamp for the card in the center is by  Hero Arts. The sentiment on the left is by Stampendous.

Side note...I hate my indoor setup for taking pictures. I can't get the lighting to capture the true color of my cards. I've searched and watched Youtube videos on how to take photos of crafts with the angle of the camera, the lighting, or lightboxes and never found the right video that worked for me and my area.
Then, I found one lady that I really liked. She was taking pictures of cards and not just crafts. I watched her first and second videos with excitement. But just when she was going to go to the next level, I'm thinking of a third video of what to do... she offers a class to get the rest of the information.
So I go and look up her class price thinking it might be worth it. The class was $65. I might have paid that price but and there's always a but, that $65 was for one section of the class on taking pictures of cards.
Say What?!
After that, I had to give myself a break from watching YouTube videos on taking pictures of my cards. The disappointment of getting nothing out of time spent and wasted was bumming me out.
Here's my example of how I can't get the true color.
This card below was taken in my craft room. It just isn't the same color as the real cards. It is a work in progress and a challenge to conquer.

Thank you for stopping by and taking a look.

Floral Friday Sunflower Tag card and older SU Sunflower stamp card

The tag for this card is an upcycle. It was made by a family member named Dawn and it was given to Grandma LaFrate in 2016 (I think-SMH. I thought I took a picture of the back so I would be able to reference it. I can't find it.)

So all I did was ink the Provo Craft patterned paper with distress ink,
Heat embossed the sentiment stamp by Forever in Time, inked it, and punched it out.
The circle underneath is a Recollections journal box. I used a Spellbinders die to cut it out and then inked it. The first time I inked it in Vintage Photo and I did;t like it, I flipped it over and inked it with Peeled Paint.
The sentiment is on Zots 3D dot thingy's that I fought with and won't use them again for a circle punch. I thought that since they were round that would work better than the square dimensional adhesive. Not so much. It looks warped. Oh well.

This next card was also made by Dawn. I took the top of this handmade card and cut off the dirty sides. Then I added the panel onto this store-bought card because it matched so beautifully.

The card below uses a very old Stampin Up stamp set and a Close to my Heart sentiment.

I used perfect pearls on the sunflower. The patterned papers are by Studio G (orange check) and Studio Calico (woodgrain). The die-cut behind the sunflower is by Spellbinders.
Here is a link to the other place I used this same stamp.

1980 Easter Scrapbook Pocket Pages

This top part is short and sweet, rather to the point.
Whereas the bottom layout description is lengthy. You've been warned.

I used stamps by Lawn Fawn Harold's ABCs for name labels as usual
I also used these Lawn Fawn stamps:
Violet's ABCs for the first card #1 and #5
Riley's ABCs for the word Easter
The arrow stamp is by Heidi Swapp.
I would stamp the first time when the ink was its wettest on the outside
Then I'd huff on the stamp and stamp it again moving in toward the center
I think this technique is called generation stamping.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
These planner stamp sets are the perfect size for my pocket pages.

The diamonds, squares, and Ampere sign are stickers by Creative Memories
The gold number stickers, 1980, are by Stickabilities (7/8" Hand Drawn)
The cross sticker is by Recollections

Next.
I stamped the above on off-white cardstock and then onto a Lawn Fawn die cut
I lined the bricks up on the paper and the die cut
I was trying to give it a dimensional feel.
My list of Lawn Fawn stamps for this page include:
Of course Harold for the labeling people
The word Easter and the egg are from one of their planner stamp sets
The word birthday is from the Everything stamp set.
The 1980 number stamps are by Stampin Up

I used some square brads in a few cards.
I labeled some of the photos with labels from the computer.
When there are more people, the stamped labels are too big to fit on the cards.
Plus I don't have their names already stamped out in different colors on different colored cardstock like I do with the intermediate family.
When I make one name label for a family member, I make a ton of them.
Honestly, the names are relatively short-Joe, Dan, Paul, Oma, and Opa.
When I do a Mike label, I switch out the last two letters and do Mimi.
Steve and David are the longest names and sometimes I switch out letters for their names since they both have a v in their names.

Moving on, the green border stickers in the middle row and center bottom row are from Creative Memories
I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to stamp the word birthday on the sticker.
The arrow sticker is by Becky Higgins Project Life.

So here's my WTH rant.
The brick sticker in the corner is by Forever in Time
I bought at Dollar Tree
This one little pile of bricks sticker is the only one that I could find in my stash.

I have a folder of just "Tools"
I have a Creative memories 3" thick binder of just "Boy Stickers"
I have a binder with a folder of die-cuts for the male gender
I have a folder for Manly Monday, more masculine crap
Plus I can't forget all of the other folders and binders that
I went through looking for some damn bricks!
And this one cheapy dollar store sticker is the only one I found.

Thank you for looking and listening to my silly rant.
I looked for and did not find a wheel barrel sticker
This causes me to get more creative in the coming pages.

I'm not sure if I've ever mentioned this but Opa was a bricklayer.
Hence, the more than usual bricklaying projects in these photos.

I dry embossed the squares around the cards with a stylus and my Fiskars trimmer.

Be Still my Heart Cards

I used stamps by Forever in Time on the first card's sentiment
The die- cuts:
Hearts are bought from eBay

The sentiment is in a circle punch by Creative Memories. That was my last circle punch and it was used on this card.
My husband has taken the punch apart in the past to make it punch well. Well, this was the last time. He said I had to buy a new one.
The patterned paper is by in the background and the heart is by Deja Views
The ribbon is by Stampin Up-Yeah! I'm using ribbon.

This next one Same hearts as above. The outside heart was cut with some ugly paper and it turned out well.
Background cardstock from Recollections was dry embossed with a Provo Craft folder.
The sentiment is by TPC Studios. I wonder if they are still in business/
Does anybody know?
The die cut by Spellbinders has eyelets at the end. Yeah! Using eyelets.
