Caardvarks - Got Paint?

What a great challenge there is over at Caardvarks right now, here's the brief......It's that time again and we want to see what you can do with PAINT! Brush it on, stamp it on, crackle it, puff it, pounce it, dab it, just do it!
I LOVE to paint! So this is the perfect challenge for me. I've unearthed my silk paints for this one. As these silk painted cards are a kind of mini work of art I like to make the card base from angle cut mount board so that it's all ready for the recipient to pop it into a picture frame.

Thanks for looking.

Silk Cushion

I made this cushion ages ago and gave it to my mother in law because she took a shine to it, the problem is that I never took a photograph of it.
So today I pinched it back while she wasn't looking so that I could take some pics (i'm sure she won't mind!). I was really proud of myself when I made this because I designed it, silk painted it, embroidered it then put it together without a single instruction! yes, I know, i'm blowing my own trumpet but if you can't blow your own trumpet now and again why have a trumpet? lol
