Well, the lovely Jules set the challenge this time around over at Cardmakers United. she wants you all to use a window or a door in your card, fabby challenge ay? Now, before anybody shouts at me....I know! this is an old card I haven't made it for the challenge but I am on the DT so I only have to show an example! I actually made this card earlier this year, it was a lucky card for me because it won me £100 worth of crafty goodies. If you fancy a go at this great challenge pop on over to Cardmakers United

CU Challenge - Seaside
I never realised just how difficult it would be to think of a theme but in the end I decided on 'Seaside' and i'm offering a smallish RAK for the design team's favourite. So if you fancy joining in with the fun pop over to CU.
For my example I discovered a new embossing technique (new for me anyway) to use for the sky- I triple embossed the background with white and two shades of blue, then I heated it all up and made lots of swirls in it with my pricking tool (you could use a cocktail stick) you can't see the effect very well in my picture but I was quite pleased with the results. I then made my funky foam beach huts (they are so much fun!). The waves are made using a Sizzix die then snipped and mounted behind the frame.
