The Little Paper Tree Sunday Inspiration Post - Flourish & Whimsy Stencil

Today I'm sharing the first of my March Sunday inspiration cards for The Little Paper Tree online craft shop.

This month I'm focusing on the beautiful Catherine Pooler Designs 'Flourish & Whimsy' stencil:

The stencil is one of a range from Catherine Pooler Designs available here on the shop website.

I've kept this week's card very simple:

1. I cut a piece of white card measuring 10cm by 14cm and another piece of scrap card measuring 12cm by 3cm.

2. I taped my main piece of card to my craft mat using masking tape with the shortest edge at the top and then secured the smaller strip across the middle of it to mask it off.

3. Then I taped the stencil over the top and applied Vintage Photo Distress Ink through the stencil with a sponge.

4. When I had inked the panel, I stamped the main sentiment from the Trinity Stamps 'With Sympathy' stamp set in the space using the same ink.

6. I used dark brown card to make my card blank and finished the card with three of the beads from the Trinity Stamps 'Bubble Blow Out' Embellishment Drops

Don't forget to check out the rest of the shop to see what else you'd like to buy!!

Inspiration Post for The Little Paper Tree - With Sympathy from Trinity Stamps

I'm back today with another card made from the beautiful 'With Sympathy' stamp set from Trinity Stamps available from The Little Paper Tree online craft shop.

Here's the stamp set:

And you can find it here in the online shop together with a coordinating die set.

For today's card I cut a piece of white card measuring 14cm by 10cm and then a piece of copy paper measuring 11cm by 7cm.  I used some low tack tape, looped round, to attach the copy paper panel in the middle of the white card and then used the stamp turned on its side to stamp around the piece of card.

When I had finished, I removed the copy paper and used a black fine liner to draw a border along the edge of the white panel left in the middle before stamping the 'with sympathy' in the space.

I attached the panel to a card blank and finished with some gems.

Don't forget to head over to the shop here to see what else you might like to buy!

Inspiration Card Post for The Little Paper Tree - With Sympathy Stamp Set

Today I'm sharing my DT inspiration card for The Little Paper Tree online shop.

This month I'm using a Trinity Stamps set set called With Sympathy:

You can find the stamp set here in the shop.  There is also a coordinating die set to go with the stamps.

I wanted to show something a little bit different you can do with the main floral stamp apart from just stamping it up.

So I cut four panels of white card and used my stamping platform to stamp the same section of the main stamp four times.

I layered these on to black paper and then on to a white card base.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set and this was just stamped and then layered on to black paper.

Why don't you head over to the shop here and see what you might be tempted to buy?!

Inspiration Card for The Little Paper Tree - Beautiful Day Floral Stamp Set

I'm back today with another inspiration card for The Little Paper Tree online store and once again I've used the Beautiful Day Floral Stamp Set with the matching die set from Catherine Pooler Designs:

You can find the stamp set and dies here in the online shop.

I used the main floral image which I die cut and coloured with Promarkers.  The sentiment I used is from another Catherine Pooler Designs set called So Much Possibility which you can find here.

I split the front of the card, removed a piece of the card and then reattached the bottom piece using the die cut flowers as a bridge.

Inspiration Card for The Little Paper Tree - Beautiful Day Stamp Set

I'm back today with another card using the Beautiful Day stamp set from Catherine Pooler Designs:

You can find the both the stamp and coordinating die sets here on the online shop.

For today's card I stamped the main image at an angle along the long edge of a piece of white card measuring 13 cm by 9cm.  Then I stamped one of the flowers again beside the first image to create a line of flowers along the whole edge of the piece of card.

The stamp set also has a smaller foliage stamp which I used to add to the flowers and leaves - it was easy to extend the stem with a black marker.

I coloured the flowers using Promarkers and then stamped one of the sentiments underneath and added two black gems to finish the card.

Don't forget to head over to the store here for a great range of stamps, dies and accessories.

Inspiration Card for The Little Paper Tree - Beautiful Day Stamp and Die Set

I'm back today with another inspiration card for The Little Paper Tree online craft shop.

This is my second card using the Beautiful Day stamp set and coordinating die set from Catherine Pooler Designs:

You can find the both the stamp and die sets here on the online shop.

This week I created a black and white design with layers.   I stamped the main floral image and one of the sentiments on my base layer and then stamped just floral image again three times.

On the first extra layer I cut away just the outside small leaves, on the second I cut away the bigger leaves and then from the final layer I cut out the bottom flower.  Then I used foam tape to layer up the images.  I added five of the small dotty accents around the design to finish the card.

Here's another view of the card:

There is also a coordinating die set which I will be using on my cards later in the month.

You can find the set and the dies here on the shop website.

Here's another view of my card:

This card is a very simple one.  I stamped  part of the main floral image in the bottom left hand corner of a piece of white card and then added one of the sentiments in the top right hand corner.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and added some Mossy Meadow Stampin' Up card as a layer before using a white card blank.  I added some red gems to finish the card.

Festive Robin Gift Tag for The Little Paper Tree

It's Sunday so that means it's time for me to share some more inspiration for The Little Paper Tree online craft shop!

This week I've made a gift tag using the very cute 'Festive Robins' stamp set from Sunshine and Bee Designs sold through The Little Paper Tree:

You can find the set here in the shop.

My little gift tag is a great way to use up leftover pieces of patterned paper!  I used some red spotty paper across the tag base and also to paper piece the robin.  The rest of the robin was paper pieced with kraft card to match the tag base.

The sentiment is from the stamp set - I simply masked off the word 'happy' when I stamped it.

Head over to the shop website here for this stamp set and lots, lots more.  And if there's something you'd like to buy, don't forget to use my DT code helenpapertree to get 10% off your order.

Weekly Inspiration Post for The Little Paper Tree Online Craft Shop

It's Sunday so that means my turn to share some inspiration for The Little Paper Tree.

I decided it was time for a little bit of Christmas so I made a very quick and easy card using the super cute Festive Robins stamp set from Sunshine and Bee Designs:

You can find the set here in the shop.

I cut three squares of white card and stamped the three robins, colouring them with Promarkers.  I used one of the sentiments from the stamp set, masking it off to stamp it in two parts.

It's a really easy card to make and would be great for batch making.

Weekly Inspiration Post for The Little Paper Tree

This is my weekly inspiration post for The Little Paper Tree online craft shop.

Don't forget that we're celebrating this month:

To make my card today I've used:

Pinkfresh Studios Pop Out Straight Stripes Stamp available here

Catherine Pooler Designs Thoughtful Phrases stamp set available here

Trinity Stamps Transparent Embellishment Drops in Bubble Blow Out available here

Here's another view of the card:

The beauty of the pop out stamps is that you can make whatever pattern you want to - I used them with my stamping platform which makes it easier to keep the lines straight.

My original plan was to use the pop out stamps to make a background panel using three different coloured inks but then I decided to die cut a circle from the finished panel instead.  I looked at the piece I had left and then die cut two more circles.  It ended up a bit like a Venn diagram!

I chose three sentiments that I thought went together and stamped them across the circles before finishing the card with some of the Embellishment Drops.

Head over to the shop website here for these stamp sets and lots, lots more.  And if there's something you'd like to buy, don't forget to use my DT code helenpapertree to get 10% off your order.
