The lucky winner this month will be receiving this bumper package of goodies:
For my card I've used the main image from the 'On Your Wedding Day' set which you can find here and I've also used one of the sentiments from the Red Gingham 'Sentiments Mix' set which you can find here.  While you're looking at the website, have a look at the fabulous range of Red Gingham Christmas stamps (just click on the Red Gingham Designs section in the sidebar) they're all super-cute designs and are very popular!

The paper I've used is from Do Crafts and I've also used some silver metallic paper and some little self adhesive pearls.

Meet Penguin Stuart

This little guy is Penguin Stuart from Little Claire Designs - you can see him here on their website together with some more cards made by the DT.  In this first card I've used blue and silver - the blue snowflake paper is from Do Crafts.  I've also used one of the circular sentiments from the Red Gingham Christmas Sentiment set which is here on the website.
This second card is a very simple one - I've used red spotted paper from Do Crafts and two die cut frames to make the top part of the card.  The peel off greeting is from one of the Little Claire sheets.

I'd like to enter the cards in the following challenges:

Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog - 'Christmas in July'
Allsorts Challenge Blog - 'free and easy' (third entry)
Craft Us Crazy - 'anything goes'

Warm Westie

This little guy is called Warm Westie and he is one of the range of dog stamps from Little Claire Designs.  He's very easy to colour (I just used two shades of grey and a little bit of pink for his ears) and also easy to cut out!  I paper pieced his coat to match the base of the card and used a Craftwork Cards punched out greeting label as the 'stopper' of the easel.  The paper is actually from a Christmas Do Crafts pad - I wanted something tartan and this was the closest I could find!

I'd like to enter the card in the following challenges:

Anything Goes Challenge - 'the letter D'
Allsorts Challenge - 'free and easy' (second entry)
The Crafty Pad - 'particular style of card' (easel card)

No Stamping!

Something a bit different for me - a card made with no stamping!  I spotted a challenge to make a card using a sticker and it reminded me that I still have part of a sheet of very cute Penny Black stickeroos left.  I put this one on card first so I could use my corner rounder on the edges and then layered it with Do Crafts paper and green card.  The little sentiment is from Craftwork Cards with some black peel off dots added.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Penny Black Saturday Challenge - 'pesky critters'

A Little Bit of Me Time ....

I have used any of my Greetings Farm stamps for a little while so yesterday I used the 'Me Time Anya' set to make some ATCs for a swap.  I love these little characters and the other bits and pieces on the stamp sheet and they're the perfect size for ATCs. The paper I've used is from Do Crafts and (although you can't really see them on the photo) I used pale pink pearls to finish off the ATCs.

I'd like to enter these in the current challenge at Divas By Design which is 'anything but a card' - hope ATCs count for this!

Tiny Tiddler ....

This is a Sugar Nellie stamps called 'Tiny Tiddler' that I've had for a few months but have only just got round to using for the first time!  I've used some Do Crafts dotty paper with it and have also used some blue Bazzill card which I put through my swiss dots Cuttlebug folder to create the panel to the side of the image.  The little sentiment and the white card candy are from Craftwork Cards.

I'd like to enter the card in the following challenges:

Sweet Stamps - 'embossing'
A Spoonful of Sugar - 'splish splash'
My Mum's Craft Shop - 'seeing spots'
Shopping our Stash - 'SOS challenge' (stamp from Sugar Nellie, seaside theme and spots)

Happy Fathers Day

This is the card I've made for my Dad for Fathers Day this weekend.  It's my first attempt at a double easel card and I've used decoupage on the two main panels.  Both images are from a pack I bought from Card Craft Plus - my Dad loves ties so they were both very appropriate!  I used papers from a Do Crafts pad, two black buttons and computer generated sentiment to finish it off.

Here are the two main panels:

And here's a close up of the base:

I'd like to enter the card in the following challenges:

Made for Men ....

With Father's Day coming up soon, there are lots of challenges based around men's cards and designs at the moment.  So here are two cards I've made with two of the images from the Little Claire Designs 'Made for Men' set which is available here.  For this first one I simply stamped the book and shoe images twice and then added the 'with best wishes' sentiment between the two lines of images.  The striped paper is from a DoCraft pad and I've added some darker brown plain paper, some brown ribbon and some punched dots.
This second card uses one of each the images, die cut into a circle and the second sentiment in the set, 'happy birthday to you'.  The paper I've used on this card is a sheet from one of my paper boxes but there's no name on the back of it - close up it looks quite textured.  I've added three large black nailhead gems and inked the outside of each of the circles.

The finishing touch on each card is some Glossy Accents on the glasses - not that easy to see in the photos but much better 'in the real'.

I'd like to enter these cards in the following challenges:

Easy Craft Projects - 'for Dad'
Here Come the Boys - Fathers Day
Lexi's Creations - 'Fathers Day or a man's card
The Stamp Man - 'Boys and Men'
The Stamping Boutique - 'for men only'
Fab 'n' Funky Challenges - 'magnificent men'

Summer Sun .....

This card was made using one of the new brown and gold peel off designs from Little Claire Designs, some pink and brown card and a strip of paper from Do Crafts.  The little clouds and birds come separately on the same sheet so I used them to build up more of a scene.  The sentiment is very appropriate for today because it's amazingly warm here!

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Papercutz - 'beach or travel theme

Sneak Peek - Room With a View Four Seasons

Two new stamp sets will be launched by Little Claire Designs next week and today I'm giving you a sneak peek at one of them which is called 'Four Seasons' and is part of the 'Room with a View' range.  The set is made up of the main window design, four 'views' with one for each season and some words which are designed to fit perfectly within the cushion in front of the window.  The set will be available online next week but if you want to order in advance, please phone 0151 342 5715.  If you mention my blog when you phone, you'll also get a free gift!

For this first spring card, I've used some Craft Creations gingham paper (yes, again!) and paper pieced the curtains to match the backing.  The words on the little cushion are 'Happy Easter'.

And here is the card open:

Next is my summer card:

For this one I've used some DoCrafts paper and the wording on the cushion this time is 'A Place in the Sun'.

And here is the card open:

I'd like to enter these cards in the 'anything goes' challenge at A Spoonful of Sugar.

Autumn and Winter to follow in the next post!

Sneak Peek - Room With a View Four Seasons

And here are the next two cards - autumn and winter.  As before, I have paper pieced the curtains on each card to match the backing paper.  For the autumn card I used paper from the DoCrafts Hanoverian collection with pearl beige and brown card - the little message on the cushion on this one is 'Home Sweet Home'.

And here is the card open:

This is the winter card closed:

For this one I've used dotty paper from Craft Creations and the message on the little cushion this time is 'Merry Christmas'.

And here is the card open:

I'd like to enter these two cards in the 'anything goes' challenge at One Stitch at a Time - my second entry.

Christmas Shopping!

Don't panic - it's not quite time yet for Christmas shopping although I am sure there are some people who will already have started!!

This is my card for two of the current Christmas challenges - Winter Wonderland where the theme is 'Christmas presents' and Bah! Humbug! where the theme is snowflakes.  For my card I've used a stamp from Wild Rose Studio, papers from DoCrafts and a sentiment and card candy from Craftwork Cards.

Only Words

This month's challenge on the Just Tracys Challenge Blog is 'sentiments' so I decided to use one of the stamps I received recently from Visible Image - I'm a member of their monthly club so I receive a stamp and project sheet each month.  The scroll border is another stamp - I stamped it above and below and sentiment.  The background paper is from DoCrafts - the Hanoverian collection which I really love.

The sun might be shining outside but I'm still making Christmas cards!  This card was made with one of my Elzybells stamps, a cute design called 'Mischievous' and I've put blue and silver paper with it although the silver (as always) doesn't show up too well on the photo.

Card Recipe

Papers - Docrafts
Sentiment - Craftwork Cards
Nailhead gems
Snowflake punch

I'd like to enter the card in the following challenges:

Less is More - Week 11

I think I felt the same as most of the rest of the LIMettes when I saw this week's challenge on the Less Is More challenge blog was to use acetate!  Not one of my favourite craft materials but having had a think about it I've come up with this card which uses acetate behind the two circular apertures on the side of the card.  The stamps all come from a Do Crafts set which was free on the front of a magazine - I needed something that matched, was small enough to fit in the aperture and was easy to cut out!  I stamped the main image directly onto the front of the card (I'm getting better at it!) and then coloured it with Promarkers.  I stamped the two little cakes separately, coloured them and then cut them out - I stuck them to the acetate with a little bit of double sided tape.
