New Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge - Easter Cards


There's a new challenge today on the Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge and this time our theme is 'Easter' - you can find more details about the challenge here on the challenge blog.

For my card I've used a very cute digi stamp from Imagine That Digis by Kris:


You can find the set here on the shops website.

I've coloured the digi with Promarkers and used a sentiment from a Clearly Besotted stamp set.  The papers I've used are from Craft Creations.

New Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge - More Than Two Folds

New Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge - For the Girls


It's time for another challenge on the Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge Blog and this time our theme is 'for the girls'.  You can find all the details here on the challenge blog.

I'm sharing a card I made recently for a little girl whose parents have just had a second baby.  I was asked to make a baby card but also this one for the new big sister so she didn't feel left out.

I've used the pre-coloured version of  'Cupcake Teddy' from Pink Gem Designs which you can find here on their website.

I used a card blank from Craftwork Cards and papers and gems from Craftwork Cards.  The sentimentis computer generated.

New Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge - Valentines Card

For my card I've used a very cute digi stamp from Miss Daisy Stamps called 'Baby Bear's Big Heart' which you can find here on her website.

I've coloured the image with Promarkers and used papers from Craft Creations.

The sentiment I've used is from Little Claire Designs and I've used dies from X-Cut and Memory Box.

New Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge - Get Your Christmas On


It's our last challenge of the year on the Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge Blog and we want to see you 'get your Christmas on'!  All the details are here on the challenge blog.

I'm sharing one of my cards which was featured in last month's Making Cards magazine - it was part of my article called 'Backgrounds on a Budget'.  I made the background for this card using cling film - all the details are in the magazine.

The stamp I've used is from LC Designs - it's not on sale at present.  I stamped it using Versafine ink and added some gems to the corners of the image panel and the middle of the star.

New Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge - Whatever the Weather


A new challenge has just started on the Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge Blog and this time our theme is 'whatever the weather'.  You can find all the details about the challenge here on the challenge blog.

My card is one that I designed for my LC Designs class last weekend.  It's a shaped card using the very cute Dinkies 'Up, Up and Away' stamp which you can find here on the LC Designs website.

I coloured the stamped image with Promarkers and decoupaged the three balloons.  The paper I've used is from Craft Creations and the clouds are from a die set from Joy Craft.

New Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge - White on White


A new challenge has just started on the Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge and this time our theme is 'white on white'.  You can find all the details about the challenge here on the challenge blog.

To make the background of my card I've used a Cuttlebug embossing folder. I then added some pearls to the centres of the embossed snowflakes.  To make the sentiment panel I used a Memory Box die called 'Curved Merry Christmas' - I raised this with foam pads and added some pearls to finish the card.

New Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge - Spots and Stripes


It was my turn to pick the theme for the current challenge on the Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge Blog and I chose 'spots and stripes'.  You can find all the details about the challenge here.

For a change my card doesn't feature any stamping or Promarkers - that doesn't happen very often!  I've used an X-Cut die for the main image and then papers from Craft Creations.

I die cut the word twice so I could put a contrasting snowflake in the word and added a small gem on the snowflake and some Card Candi.

I'm sharing a card I designed for one of my LC Designed classes.  I used a piece of the Mini Splodge Paper which you can find here on their website.  The stamp I used is the 'Dinkies Boxed Dandelion' which you can find here.

I finished the card with some black gems and a sentiment from LC Designs which you can find here.

New Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge - More Than One Fold


We've got a new challenge today on the Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge Blog and this time our theme is 'more than one fold'.  You can find all the details about the challenge here on the challenge blog.

I'm sharing one of the cards I designed for my last LC Designs class using the 'Wavy Log Cabin' stamp set which you can find here on the website.

It's a three panelled card and I stamped part of the main image on to the three panels of white card - if you look at the close up photos below, you'll see that there's an overlap between the image panels but I like having three little scenes like this.

The sentiments I've used are part of the stamp set.  The papers I've used are from Craft Creations and I've finished the card with some punched snowflakes and pearls.

New Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge - Anything Goes


We've got a new challenge today on the Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge and this time it's an 'anything goes' challenge.  You can find all the details about the challenge here on the challenge blog.

My card is one that I designed for my LC Designs Celebrations class this afternoon.  The class was a mixture of Christmas and Birthday cards and I'll be sharing the rest of them over the coming weeks.

For this card I've used a digi stamp which will be launches on the LC Designs website very soon.  I paper pieced each of the little birds using kraft paper and then gingham paper.  The card base is kraft cards, red paper and gingham paper.

I've added Card Candi and punched hearts to finish the card.

New Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge - Sentiment as Main Focus

I've used a sentiment from Visible Image and combined it with some Trimcraft papers.  The floral paper has a shimmer to it which you can just see on a couple of the flowers.

New Crafting WIth Dragonflies Challenge - Animals

My card is the final of three that were published in the last issue of Making Cards magazine.

I've used 'Wavy Hedgehogs' from LC Designs (available here) stamped on to a piece of paper from the 'Splodge' paper pack available here.  I've used the same paper to may on to my card.

New Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge - Congratulations: Wedding, Anniversary Etc


We've got a new challenge today on the Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge Blog and this time our challenge is to make a 'congratulations card' - it could be for a wedding, anniversary, graduation etc.  You can find all the details about the challenge here on the challenge blog.

I've used one of the stamps from a Penny Black set called 'Love Bears'.  I stamped the image with one of the sentiments underneath and coloured it with Promarkers.  I then die cut this using a stitched circle die from Memory Box.

I've used a doily underneath the image panel, some paper from a Prima pad and pearls and tiny punched hearts to finish the card.
