Town Scrapper Friday-2 or more Ribbons-ESS108

Town Scrapper Friday is here folks!  We have a fun one for you...we are asking you to use 2 or more ribbons on your card for this challenge.

So I used this gorgeous purple silk ribbon for my first ribbon and then the flower is actually made from this fun brown gingham ribbon, so that's my 2!!  I used Darby from the Sweet November line from CC Designs and some more of my favorite papers from Bo Bunny.

I used Tracy's fun sketch from Eat, Sleep, Stamp this week for my layout.  Instead of adding something extra where the snowflake is I just went with the big bow and the flower in the center instead...I think it's enough:-)

Town Scrapper Showcase Time

Monday is here..already?? Time for a Town Scrapper Showcase for you. I love these sweet CC Designs images and used 2 of them on my card today. The Sweet Stop with a Spin #74

Sweet Stop time again!!  This time it's with a spin...a color combo for you....Mustard Yellow and Deep Red...well this is as close as I could get and I looked forever through my papers to find something that worked!!

I used a sweet CC Designs image, Sunflower Birgitta for my image and an assortment of papers!  The sentiment is from Sensational Seals from CTMH.  I am totally loving these CC Designs images!

I hope you'll play along with us, Korin always has such fabulous sketches and this is yet another!  Since it's a spin week, you have the chance to win not 1 but 2 (digi or clear stamps) of your choice!!  You must use the sketch and the spin to be eligble!

I am so happy it's the weekend!  I have some laundry (when don't I) to catch up on and housework to do and then back to crafting I'll be!

The Town Scrapper-Summer Hiatus

Ok, so our challenge this week was anything but a square or rectangle card, but then we changed things up a bit as this is our last post until September 10th.  We are taking a summer hiatus, so we thought we'd open it wide up and show you what we have!

I made this card using a bunch of digi stamps actually....

First off, Cherry Emma from the Sugarplums collection at All That Scraps is sitting atop the fabulous Whimsical Mushroom from my buddy Zoe's fabulous store Make It Crafty, then I added some clouds and birds from Rainbow Land which is from Make It Crafty as well.  All paper is CTMH.

Today is the last day of swimming for my kiddos.  Summer camp was over yesterday, so we are almost free of driving to town every day!  I have 2 whole weeks to hang out...ya right, I need to get the 5th wheel packed for Sandpoint!!  I am just going to relax tomorrow though....hope my kids sleep in for once!

A Recipe For You-DDCC78, ICS#67

We have a great recipe for you over on the Dutch Dare Challenge blog today.  You need to have:

2 Pattern Papers

3 Colors and 

4 buttons
 on your creation somewhere.  More is just fine, but make sure to include at least the items as listed above for you chance to win a gift certificate to Simon Says Stamp!

Here's my card:

I have used a sweet guy from CC Designs, paper, embroidery floss and buttons from CTMH, EK Success border punch, Taylored Expressions ribbon.  The sketch is from IC Sketches #67, I just flipped it!

Well it's coming up to long weekend time here in Canada.  Monday is the holiday, but Kirsten is off school tomorrow too, so it'll be nice to  just hang out!  We are going vehicle shopping on Saturday, so that should be fun!

**Happy Day** DDCC #76- Easel Card, ASFOS100, PTW39

A fun challenge for you over at the Dutch Dare Card Challenge blog today...Desire is asking you to make an easel card and along with that make sure something is repeating itself.  I have let you have a sneaky peak today of some new Summer CTMH products that will be available May 1st.  Totally lovin' these cherry papers and this sweet CC girl fits perfectly!

Here is my Easel card showing it open.  I repeated the cherry paper and a cherry embellie on the inside.

Here is a close up of the front.  I used the great sketch from Papertake Weekly for my layout.  This will also fit the A Spoon Full of Sugar challenge which is Happy Birthday as this is for my good friend Amy, who turned 30!!  She's not overly excited about being the big 3-0, so I went with a Happy Day sentiment instead of specifically birthday! 

Oh my, I was just playing with Studio J, CTMH digi scrapbooking program....LOVE IT!!!  Although I was just playing around, I am so happy with how my layout turned out.  Here's a peak...I'm full of sneak peeks today!!

Spring Time-DDCC74-ATS22

Our Dutch Dare Card Challenge for you this week is a fun one! We are asking you to make a Spring card and incorporate fabrics...well I apparently didn't read the memo on the fabric part, my flowers are like a foamy material but not really fabric...but it is Springy!!

This sketch is from All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge and thought it would be fun to use one of these CC Designs Sugarplum cuties.  

Have some other fun stuff I am working on, but it's a secret for now....teasing you, yes I am!

It's All About The Presents~Friday Sketchers #25

I love this stamp set from C.C. Designs and All That Scraps. I just got it yesterday and inked it up this morning to make a birthday card for DJ, a boy in Kirsten's class who's party was today!! I also ordered some Shimmerz after seeing all of the lovely creations Jennifer makes over at Cuppy Cake. I am so excited to use them!!

I used yesterdays Friday Sketchers Sketch Challenge #25 made by Claudia Rosa for my layout.

I used papers from TLC and colored the image with my Copics, used some brads from CTMH and Making Memories and my SU Photo Corner Punch.

I just picked Kirsten up from the party and she had a blast! Landon and Lance are having a little snooze, so I am going to scoot and let Kirsten have some computer time!

I have so many blog awards and such to catch up on and I hope to have it all done to post tomorrow:-)
