Little Miss Muffet Challenge Card (#132) - Graffiti Dream

Hi everyone

Well it's Monday and my turn to share my Little Miss Muffet (LMMS) Challenge creation with you. The super easy theme for Challenge #132 is 'Anything Goes' and you don't even have to use a Little Miss Muffet Stamp to join in either. So what are you waiting for!!

So, considering I'm usually a cuties kind of gal I absolutely loved colouring this graffiti word in, I think it was because it was so easy to do - no shading just flat colour. The digi stamp is called 'Graffiti Dream' and there's quite a few available in the LMMS store and well worth checking out. I'll definitely be creating a few more cards using them, they're so versatile you can pretty them up or grunge them down, and so great for male cards.

http://www.littlemissmuffetstamps.com/

Here's What I Did
Firstly I created the scene in CraftArtist2 using the digi stamp 'Dream' and a Serif digi kit that included paint splats, drips and circles. The picture I created could easily be remade using any graphics program, even Word. Next I printed the whole scene directly onto colouring cardstock and coloured the letters in with Copic pens to match the splats, then added a thick black outline.

To add texture and realism I used a brick wall embossing folder, then to make it pop even further the completed picture was matted onto black card before being attached to the card base.

To finish off I added white pen for highlights and a small amount of clear glitter on the stars.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamp: 'Graffiti Dream' - available here
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Black CS, Neenah Colouring CS, 7" x 7" card Base
Copics: RV06, V05, Y08, Y35, B05, YG05, 100
Other: CraftArtist 2, Plant Pop Digi Kit, Texture 'Brick Wall' Embossing Folder, Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Pen, White Pen

So come on and join in with our fab challenge (#132) over at Little Miss Muffet. Remember our theme this month is 'Anything Goes' so it's really easy.

Don't forget....if you want to see more Little Miss Muffet creations made my lovely teamies why not join our Facebook page (just search for the Little Miss Muffet), or check out our Pinterest Board.

I look forward to seeing you soon. Why not leave me a message so I know who's out there - I'd love to hear from you!!

Tiddly Inks Challenge - Paws For Thought!

 - Good Morning Tiddly Inkers -

Hi everyone, I'm here to share my Design Team card with you for this week's Tiddly Inks Challenge #163. Our fab theme this week is 'Paws For Thought!' so grab your Tiddly Inks animal stamp (anything that has paws of course!) and join in with us.

For my card this week I used the gorgeous digital stamp called Wryn - Thank You Beary Much (grab it now it's only a $1 in the store). I've been dying to use it in a project for ages and well I thought teddies have paws so this theme is perfect.

I couldn't resist paper piecing her comfy chair and decoupaging everything else....I really wanted the teddies and Wryn to pop. I won't lie it did take me a while to print, colour and cut everything out, but I'm really happy with the result. I hope you like it :)

Here's What I Did
I used a 7" x 7" white card base which I matted with lilac card. Using my computer software I printed the image 4 times directly onto my colouring card stock, coloured sections I needed with Copic pens then fussy cut them all out.  The full image was printed again onto 2 different patterned papers and cut out. All the pieces where glued into page but I added foam tape behind Wryn and one of the bears to give dimension, to bring the bears to life I used glossy accents on their eyes and noses.

The finished panel was glued to a die cut scalloped square and added to the card base using foam pads. To finish off I added a touch of glitter and a few stamped and die cut paw prints, along with a die cut heart.

Here's what I Used
Digital Image: Wryn - Thank You Beary Much from Tiddly Inks
Stamp: MFT Die-namics  'From My Heart'
Cardstock (CS): Lilac, Aqua & Purple CS, Neenah Colouring CS, LOTV 'Promises' Paper Pad
Copics:  Skin - E0000, E000, E00, E11, R20 / Hair - X1, C2, C3, C5, C7, 100 / Bears & Chair Legs - E00, E11, E15, E21, E25. E29 / Shading - V00, V01, V04, BG000, BG10, BG13 / Ground - W1
Dies: Crealies XXL 'Stitched' Square, MFT Die-namics 'From My Heart', Memory Box 'Cross Stitched Hearts', Spellbinders Grand 'Scallop Squares'
Other: Craftartist 2, Wink Of Stella 'Clear Glitter' Pen, Glossy Accents

I hope you'll drop by the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog to take a peek at what the other lovely Design Team ladies have come up with. I look forward to seeing what you make :)

Tiddly Inks Fab Friday - I'm On Cloud 9!

Hello and good morning....

Hi there me dears?? Well I don't know about you, but I want to know who hijacked my summer? It's so cold here in the UK that you'd swear it was autumn. So for my Tiddly Inks Fab Friday Design Team card I decided to create a little bit of sunshine of my own - I used this little lovely called 'Cloud 9', and for extra clouds I used 'Twisted Tree' (which is a free digi stamp).

Here's What I Did
Firstly I trimmed down a sheet of A3 card to created a top fold card (this can easily be done with a sheet of A4 or 12 x 12 card for a smaller version); and matted this with blue card. The image was printed directly onto some printable vellum and coloured from the front with Prisma pencils. In some areas of the image colour was also added from behind, along with a little dry embossing on the clouds to create a little extra dimension.

Using a cloud die I die cut the top of the finished vellum image and some soft blue vellum, both were added to the card base. To hide the fixings at the front I die cut a cloud border from a strip of white card. To finish off I added a die cut sun, a gem, and a few sequins.

Here's what I Used
Digital Image: 'Cloud 9' and 'Twisted Tree' both available from  the Tiddly Inks store
Prisma Pencils - Skin -Light Peach, Peach, Blush Pink, Carmine Red / Hair - Cool Grey 20%, Cool Grey 50%, Warm Grey 50%, Warm Grey 70%, Black / Dress, Hat & Shoes - Blush Pink, Carmine Red, Crimson Red, Crimson Lake  / Clouds - White, Cloud blue, True blue, Light Cerulean Blue / Flowers - Canary Yellow, Yellowed Orange, Pale Vermillion
Dies: Lawn Fawn 'Puffy Clouds Borders', MFT 'Gerbera Daisy'
Paper/Card (CS): White Card Base, White & Blue CS, Vellum
Other: Serif CA2, Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Pen, Sequins, Gem, Blender Pencil, Black Medium Lyra Polycolor, Black Fineliner, Glitter Pen, Gem, Sequins, Copic Pen - E00, E02

Tiddly inks - Challene #161

 - Good Morning Tiddly Inkers -

So, onto my Design Team project for this week's Tiddly Inks Challenge #161, our easy peasy theme this week is 'Anything Goes'!!! So grab your Tiddly Inks stamp and join in with us.

For my circular card I used the digital stamp called Wryn Floating Along - she's a new release from Christy, isn't she fabulous. I wanted to create a 'summery hot day' feeling to my card so I used yellows, oranges and pinks tones....I hope I achieve it ok!

Here's What I Did
I die cut a white card base into a scallop card base. I printed my image directly onto some colouring card twice, one of which was die cut into a circle. I printed the image again onto copier paper and fussy cut it out to use as a mask. The mask was temporary fix onto the girl (Wryn) and her rubber ring (float) so that I could colour the sky and sea with out disturbing the image - this was then removed afterwards. I coloured the other image in with Copic pens and fussy cut it out.  The die cut orange circle and topper (with the sky and sea) was attached to the card base, along with a die cut sun and the cut out and coloured in Wryn.

To finish off I added a little clear glitter to the flowers and her lemonade glass, plus some white pen on the waves.

Here's what I Used
Digital Image: Wryn Floating Along from Tiddly Inks
Cardstock (CS): Orange & Yellow CS, Neenah CS
Copics: Skin - E000, E00, E11, R20, R81 / Hair - C0, C1, C2, C3, C5, C7, 100 / Hat & Sandals - YR04, YR15, YR16, YR20, YR68 / Lemonade Glass, Rubber Ring, Flower Centres & Hat Trim - Y00, Y02, Y08, Y176 / Bathing Suit & Flowers - RV10, RV13, RV14, Shadows - BV000, BV04
Dies: Taylor Expressions 'Cloud Border', Crealies XXL 'Stitched Circle', Spellbinders Grand 'Scalloped Circle', Tattered Lace 'Circle', Sizzix 'You & Me'
Other: White Pen, Craftartist 2, Glitter, Distressing Inks

I hope you'll drop by the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog to take a peek at what the other lovely Design Team ladies have come up with. I look forward to seeing what you make :)

Tiddly inks - Fabulous Friday

Hello and good morning everyone -----

Here is my Design Team card for Fabulous Friday over at Tiddly Inks. The gorgeous digital image I used this week is called Poppy Pixie, isn't she the cutest thing ever.  The making of this card coincided with one of my oldest friend's birthday (we've known each other for over 30 years), so this is actually her birthday card as well as my DT card......and she loved it.

To really show off Christy's fabulous drawing I decided to create a CAS card and only use a few colours for the flowers as I wanted to keep a soft and gently look. FYI There are more pixies with flowers in the Tiddly Ink store - why not check them out.

Here's What I Did
I used an A5 scalloped card base which I matted and layered with lilac card. The image and sentiment/layout was printed directly onto watercolour card using my software. The image was then water coloured with Derwent Inktense pencils. To finish off I added a touch of glitter and a sprinkling of sequins.

Here's what I Used
Digital ImagePoppy Pixie by Tiddly Inks

Tiddly Inks - Challenge Card #158

Hello and good morning everyone -----

If you live in the UK I hope you all had a fabulous Bank Holiday weekend - I've literally crafted all week :)

So, onto my Design Team card for the Tiddly Inks Challenge #158, our theme this week is 'Just Easel-y'. Simply make an easel card using a Tiddly Inks stamp; there's so many gorgeous images in the shop to choose from, you'll be spoilt for choice. Make sure you also check out our blog and Facebook page for inspiration from the fab DT.  Plus there's lots of inspiration on Pinterest and You Tube  videos if you need help to make an easel card. Alternatively if you can message me I can send you some info.

So for my easel card I used the digital stamp set 'Beach Bonanza', which includes Wryn, umbrella, sentiment, sandcastle, shells, crab and crab & bucket. However you can buy the Wryn Beach Babe and the Wryn Beach Accessories separately if you wish. There is also a clear stamp set available to buy, if you prefer.

Here's What I Did
There are quite a few steps to my card - so here's goes!

Firstly I printed the sentiment and shells directly onto my Kraft card and attached it my pre-made easel card base. Next I die cut a circle, cloud border and some waves from coloured card, plus a few sand dunes from Kraft card. Using my die cut clouds I created a sky on the white circle using blue distressing ink. I hand cut some blue card to represent the water and added some blue and white pencil marks to represent the surf, this was then attached to the blue and white die cut waves. The waves and the dunes were all added to the card front.

To make the stopper I die cut another sand dune wave from Kraft card, edged it with distressing ink and glued it to a folded strip of the same card to make it stand up. The stopper was then attached to the base at the point I wanted my easel to stand up.

Wryn and all her beach accessories were coloured with Copic pens and finished off with pencils. All the coloured images were then fussy cut out and attached to the card base. A clear glitter pen was used on some of the shells and flower centres. To finish off I added glossy accents and a couple of tiny ribbons to Wryn's hair.

Here's what I UsedDigital Image: Beach Bonanza Tiddly Inks
Copics: Skin - E000, E00, E11, R20, R30 / Hair - YR0000, YR000, YR00, E13, E15, E99 /  Towel - B0000, B000, B02, B05, RV00, RV02  / Swimming Costume, Sandals & Crabs - R20, R22, R29, R32,  / Daisies & Bag - Y00, Y02, Y06, Y35 / Daisy Centres - RV00, RV02, RV14 / Parasol - Y00, Y02, Y06, Y35, RV00, RV02, RV14, C2 / Bucket - B0000, B000, B02, B05 / Sandcastle - YR000, YR20, YR61, E13, RV00, RV02, RV14, B0000, B000, B02, Y00, Y02, YR35, BG10, BG13 / Sea Shells - Y00, Y02, Y35, BG10, BG13,  B0000, B000, B02, B05, RV00, RV02, RV14

--- Hello and good morning everyone ---

I have some brilliant news to share with you!!

If you remember I recently entered the Tiddly Ink Design Team Call Out,
well I made the team------- yay!!!

Yes, I was invited to join the TI Design team by Christy - and to be perfectly honest I can't quite believe it. The quality of entries was so high, I never thought I would ever stand a chance. So here I am a 'Tiddly Inker' for 4 months - so each week you'll see either a Themed Challenge card (which I hope you will join in with) or a Fabulous Friday card.

So on that note, here is my first Design Team card for Tiddly Inks for Fabulous Friday. This gorgeous image is a new release and it's called 'Wedding Bells'. The images comes with and without a veil, which makes it perfect for a wedding, engagement, anniversary or even a prom.  When you check out the image instore you'll see my card has been used as the sample photo - which made me even more excited - lol.

Here's What I Did
My card base is 7" x 7". I printed my image and sentiment directly onto my colouring cardstock which I cut down to size. I coloured the wedding couple with Copic markers and a Wink of Stella pen. The finished topper was then matted and layered onto 2 different shades of yellow card and attached to my card base. I used clear glitter on the bride's veil to give a sparkly translucent look. To finish off I added punched out stars around the couple and a die cut #1 near the sentiment.

Note: I made sure that when I typed out my sentiment I made sure I left sufficient space to add
my die cut #1.

Here's what I Used

Good evening everyone!

So on this dark and wintery Tuesday evening I'm here to share my Inky Chicks DT card with you, and the theme this week is Winter Wonderland.  And judging by all the dark frosty days, it's quite apt.

Inky Chicks Challenge - Anything Goes

Good evening everyone!

Well I've been on my holiday to Alaska, and photos will follow in the next few days - hopefully.

On this fine Tuesday night I have my Inky Chicks DT card to share with you.  It's a card I made for one of the guy's at work for his girlfriend to say 'I love you'. I've covered up her name to preserve her identity.

The theme this week is easy, it's Anything Goes.

Here's What I did
Sorry about the photo quality, it's these grey days we've been having lately. Honestly the centre panel is white, it looks grey on here :(  And oh yes, I've blanked off the recipient's name.

The centre panel was all made digitally using CraftArtist 2, which I then printed off a few times, fussy cut out and layered up.  The lacey trim was made using a border punch and added around the edge of the panel before being glued to the base card.  To finish off I added glitter, gems and a few punched butterflies.

Here's everything I used:
Digi Kit:  Fizzy Moon 'Weekender'
Paper/Cardstock (CS): White CS, Pink CS, Craftwork Card 'Paper Floristry - Sherbet' Paper Pad
Other: Glitter, Butterfly Punch, Border Punch, CraftArtist 2, Gems

So why not drop by the Inky Chicks Challenge blog, and check out what my fab Design Team girlies have made to inspire you. So come on why not join in with the fun and enter your card/project into our 'Anything Goes' challenge this week..

This week's sponsor and prize is from Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet.

I look forward to seeing what you create.

Sweet Stampin' - Milestone Birthday

Hellooooo, well it's that time again ---- it's Sweet Stampin' time.  Yey!!

Our fab theme this week is 'Milestone Birthday' - mmm, I wonder why!!!

Here's What I did
I thought I would keep it CAS this week with simple matting and layering with a die cut flower. I did however print off a few extra images of the digi stamp, coloured portions of it in and fussy cut them out, and layered them up. To finish off I added a little glitter, a few gems and sequins - and oh yes some glossy accents to her glasses.  The digi image and sentiment was set out using CraftArtist 2 before printing and die cutting out.

Here's everything I used:
Digi Stamp:  'SB Firemen Call' by Bugaboo Digi Stamps
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Papermania Coloured CS
Copics: Skin - E0000, E000, E00, E11, R20, R30 / Hair: YR000, YR00, E13, E99 / Dress, Shoes, Hat - RV14, RV21, RV23, RV34 / Cake - YR20, YR23, YR31, RV000, RV21
Dies: Die'sire 'Leaf 1', Dienamics MFT 'Blueprints 3 & 8'
Other: Serif CraftArtist 2, Glitter, Gems, Sequins, Glossy Accents
