Craft Consortium - Faeries - Flower

 Hi there

Today I’m sharing another card for Craft Consortium using one of the stamp sets from the new 'Faeries' collection. The collection was made in association with Lavera Grace. As mentioned in my last post, the collection includes paper pads, stamps, and embellishments.

My card highlights the stamp called ‘Flower', which I used combined with some of the other stamps in the collection.. I used a bell jar stencil from my stash and I created whimiscal faerie scene.

This collection and other collections are available from the Craft Consortium's website and good craft retailer's websites. In the USA, it will be distributed by Scrapbooking.com (this is in the process of being set up). You can also go direct to the Craft Consortium's website here and sign up for an update on any future product launches.

This Is What I Did
I die cut a piece of patterned paper from the 'Organic' paper pad to cover the front of an A5 white card blank. Next I die cut a piece of watercolour card and added my bell jar aperture mask, With black waterproof ink I stamped the faerie into the centre of the jar, then stamped her again onto masking paper which I cut out. After covering the faerie with the mask and the bottom section, I added several colours of distress ink to create a pretty background, with the lighter area in the centre. Whilst the mask and stencil were in place I continued to stamp lots of flora in the background, and added colour using distress reinkers. I covered the top section of the jar and added shades of brown ink at the bottom to create a base.

When the background and base was dry I removed the faerie mask and coloured her using distress reinkers. Highlights and light orbs were added using white paint and a white pen. When everything was dry I carefully removed the jar aperture stencil, and lightly placed the jar stencil over the top of the coloured jar and added colour around the jar. The completed scene was mounted onto blue mirror card and then glued onto the centre of the card front.

To finish the card, I added glitter to the faeries wings, a few dew drops and 3 butterflies which were stamped, coloured and fussy cut out.

Distress Re-inkers & Ink Used - I used a huge collection of colours so email me for the list if you would like it.

I die cut a sentiment and heart from white card  (3 times) and once from pink paper, they were glued together and added to the card front. Glitter was added to some of the flowers and the heart. To finish the card, I added a few pink dew drops around the sentiment.

Lili Of The Valley - James Gardening

Afternoon Everyone

Well as I promised I'm back with more James Bear stamps from Lili Of The Valley. In fact there are 2 brand new stamps - 'James Fishing' and 'James Gardening' which will be available as both digi stamps and in a polymer stamp set. The polymer stamps sets will contain both the new stamps and a few oldies and are called - 'James Take It Easy' and 'James Thinking Of You' - the sets are on advance order and will be shipped from the 7th April. They are all adorable!

Anyhow, for today's card I've used the 'James Gardening' polymer stamp and coloured him up using my distress re-inkers. I created a CAS card by teaming up the cute James stamp with a large edge die.

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Online  Shop and the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the stampsFYI you can use both sites to purchase the stamps.

Here's What I Did & Used
I trimmed a piece of watercolour card down to 4½" x 6½" and die cut the top section with the 'Happy' edger die. The lovely James Bear was stamped on the bottom of the card and coloured up with distress re-inkers and pencils; blue and brown distress ink was applied around the edges to create a vignette. A sentiment was stamped just below the cut out section at the top of the card.

A piece of the same red card was trimmed down to approx 4¾ x 6½" and using a heart stencil I applied brown distress ink right across the card to add a kittle extra interest. When the ink was dry it was added to the card front. The painted scene was mounted flat onto the card front.

To finish the card, the word 'happy' was die cut twice from red card then glued together, this was then placed in the corresponding space along with a some tiny flowers.

Polymer Stamp Set: James Take It Easy
Digi Stamp: TBC

Distress Re-inkers: Bear - Tea Dye, Vintage Photo, Spun Sugar / Spade - Barn Door, Aged Mahogany,  Hickory Smoke / Grass - Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn

Lili Of The Valley - Woodland Fairies (Dew)

 Evening Everyone

Today I'm sharing my last card (no.5) highlighting the polymer stamp set 'Woodland Fairies for Lili Of The Valley (LOTV). In this card I used the gorgeous fairy Dew plus a few friends, which I coloured with Copic pens. As previously mentioned you can buy the fairies and extra element individually as digital stamps. I hope you like her. x

The finished scene was matted onto a piece of 14.5cm x 9.5cm blue card, then onto a piece of 15cm x 10cm white card. Funky foam was glued to the back to give it dimension. The topper was added to the centre of the card front.

To finish, I added glitter to the fairy’s wings along with a few pearls.

Lili Of The Valley - Woodland Fairies (Sprite)

 Evening Everyone

Sorry for the delay in post my 3rd card of the week for Lili Of The Valley (LOTV), but unfortunately I've been poorly. As I mentioned in my previous posts I'm showcasing the pretty polymer stamp set 'Woodland Fairies, remember you can buy the fairies and extras individually as digital stamps. For my card today I'm using Sprite, which I coloured with Copic pens. I hope you like her. x

But don't forget you can simply go to the LOTV Etsy Store and search under the polymer stamps listing for many of the other sets which are also on offer atm.

What I Did
To make the scalloped circle card blank, I first cut down an A4 sheet of white card to 14.5cm wide and folded it in half. Next I placed a 13cm scalloped circle die slightly over the folded edge, and die cut it. Using the same die I cut out another scalloped circle from pale pink card, then glued it directly onto the front of the scalloped card base.

The fairy, butterflies, and squirrel were all stamps onto colouring card and die cut with a 10cm circle. The scene was coloured using Copic pens, then matted onto a 11.25cm scalloped circle cut from blue card. The completed topper was glued into the centre of the card front, then glitter was added to the fairy’s wings along with a few pearls.

Lastly I printed out a sentiment, matted it onto deep pink card with a few pearls, then added it to the card front with foam pads.

Here's What I Used
Polymer Stamp Set: Woodland Fairies (Willow)
Digital Stamp: Sprite - Woodland Fairy
Digital Sentiments: Fairy Sentiments

Other:

I'm back with another card highlighting the very sweet polymer stamp set 'Woodland Fairies' by Lili Of The Valley (LOTV). As I mentioned yesterday the A5 stamp set is available in their Etsy shop at the reduced price of £10 atm, which is a great price. The sentiment was printed onto white card and glued onto a spare piece of the digital paper, this was then added to the card front along with the roses. To finish the card, I added a few pearls and gems.

Lili Of the Valley - Woodland Fairies (Eva)

Happy Belated New Year

Sorry I've been quiet, but I sustained a hand injury just before Christmas which totally put me out of action. My injury involved ring finger on my dominant hand which has meant no crafting, typing, but at least meant no housework. Lol Tbh it's still painful to do those things, but it's healing more and more each day.

So today, and for the rest of the week I will be highlighting the previously released polymer stamp set 'Woodland Fairies' by Lili Of The Valley (LOTV). The A5 stamp set is available in their Etsy shop at the reduced price of £10 atm, which is amazing. You can also buy the fairies individually as digital stamps - see the links below the photo. You will see that I used the same colour scheme for each of the cards - pink, blue white and green. For the first card of my five cards I have used Eva, which I coloured with Copic pens. I hope you like it. x

But don't forget you can simply go to the LOTV Etsy Store and search under the polymer stamps listing for many of the other sets which are also n offer atm.

The stamps were all coloured with Copic pens and the completed scene was mounted onto a pink scalloped mat. Funky foam was glued to the back of the topper to give height, and added to the card front. Glitter was added to the fairy’s wings and the butterflies.

To finish the card, I added a few die cut flowers and leaves, along with a few pearls and gems.

Lili Of The Valley - Christmas Mug #3

 Hi everyone

I'm back again sharing another of the gorgeous 'Christmas Mugs' stamps from Lili Of The Valley's new polymer stamp sets. As I mention this morning the new 5 stamps sets all launch tomorrow (Monday 25th) on Create & Craft TV @ 7pm (GMT time). You can also watch it on Catch Up TV or even online on You Tube. The stamps will be for sale in the LOTV Etsy shop shortly after.

For today's card  I used the sweet snowman in a mug version and non traditional colour theme. I love this stamp set as each one could easily be used as the focal point on Christmas card or made into a tag. I used Copic pens coloured with. I hope you like it.

But don't forget you can simply go to the LOTV Etsy Store to and search under the polymer stamps listing for many of the other sets.

Here's What I Did & Used
I trimmed down a piece of pretty Christmas paper and adhered it to the front of an a 5" x 7" white card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge. I stamped the sweet Christmas mug onto blending card, coloured it with Copic pens and fussy cut out.

An arch shape was cut from white card and dry embossed with a snowflake embossing folder, then lilac ink was added to the top. A further 2 arches were die cut, then cut off at the bottom with different sloping hill shaped dies - one slightly taller than the other. Lilac ink was added to the hill shapes and glued flat onto the embossed arch to create a snowy scene. The scene was then matted onto a slightly larger arch cut from lilac card, then glued flat onto the card front.

The cut out mug was added snowy scene with foam pads. To complete the card I added a die cut sentiment and  a little glitter to the mug and content.

Lili Of The Valley - Snow Folks #1

 Morning everyone

Today I'm sharing another card made using one of the new Lili Of The Valley Christmas polymer stamp sets. This time I used one of the characters from the 'Snow Folk' set, isn't she the sweetest. I teamed her up with some strips of co-ordinating card - and although I used a strip dies set, you could easily replicate the look by cutting strips of card with either a trimmer or even by using a shredding machine. I used Copic pens to colour with.  I hope you like them.

FYI - There are 5 new stamps sets in total, and they're launching this Monday (25th) on Create & Craft TV @ 7pm (GMT time), then in the LOTV Etsy shop shortly after.

But don't forget you can simply go to the LOTV Etsy Store to and search under the polymer stamps listing for many of the other sets.

Here's What I Did & Used
I trimmed down a piece of blue card to fit the front of a 5" x 7" card blank leaving a slim border around the edge, this was then glued flat to the front. I die cut lots of strips from blue and silver glitter card in different widths, these were then glued onto the top section of a sheet of thin white card. The card was then die cut with a pierced rectangle and attached to the front of the card.

The snow girl was stamped onto colouring card and coloured using Copic pens, then fussy cut out. Foam pads were added to the back of the cut out, and attached to the right hand side of the striped detail. Die cut snowflakes were glued all over the stripes, along with a few gems.

To finish the card I added a little glitter to the snow girl's hat, plus a die cut sentiment to the bottom of the card.

Copic Pens
Snow Girl - B000, B00, N0, N2, Y15, YR04 / Hat & Candy Cane - RV10, RV13, RV14, N0, N2 / Holly - YG01, YG03, YG17, R14, R29 / Scarf - B12, B14, B16, RV10, RV13, RV14

Other: White 5" x 7" Top Fold Card Blank, Make It Colour Card, Card (White, Pink, Mid Blue & Deep Blue), Thin White Card, Silver Glitter Card, 'Quick Stripes' Die Set (Mama Elephant), 'Double Pierced Background Rectangle' Die (Creative Expression), 'Mini Snowflake' Dies (Lawn Fawn), 'Noel' Die Set (X Cut), Gems, Foam Pads, Glitter, Double Sided Tape, Black Ink, Glue

Lili Of The Valley - Christmas Mugs #1 & #2

 Hi everyone

Today I'm sharing 2 cards made using the same layout and stamp from one of the new Lili Of The Valley Christmas polymer stamps. There are 5new stamps sets in total, and they're launching this Monday (25th) on Create & Craft TV @ 7pm (GMT time), then in the LOTV Etsy shop shortly after.

For both cards I used the penguin stamp from the 'Christmas Mugs' set, and on the red card I added a set of antlers to turn him into a small reindeer (with permission from LOTV). For both cards I used Copic pens coloured with. I hope you like them.

But don't forget you can simply go to the LOTV Etsy Store to and search under the polymer stamps listing for many of the other sets.

Here's What I Did & Used
On both cards I trimmed down a piece of Christmas patterned paper and attached it to the front of a 6" x 6" white card blank leaving a slim border around the edge. I die cut a large snowflake frame from white card and glued it into the centre of the card front.

RED CARD
I stamped the penguin onto a piece of colouring card and die cut into a circle, then added antlers. The stamp was coloured using Copic pens, and glued to a red scalloped circle. Funky foam was added to the back of the circle to raise it up a little, and then glued on top of the snowflake. I added white die cut snowflakes and glitter to the mug. To finish the card I added some white pearls around the snowflake.

Other: White 6" x 6" Card Blank, Make It Colour Card, White & Red Card, 'I'll Be Gnome for Christmas' Paper Pad (The Works), Circle & Scalloped Circle Dies (Tonic), 'Snowflake Frame' (Sweet Dixie), Pearls, Funky Foam, White Pen, Glitter, Double Sided Tape, Black Ink, Glue

Copic Pens (Red Card)
Reindeer - E31, E33, E35, E37 / Mug - R02, R17, R29 / Cinnamon Sticks - E08, E35, E37 / Cookie - E34, E53, E57, RV02, RV13, R4V14 / Hot Chocolate & Marshmallows - RV02, RV10, RV13, E13, E34

BLACK CARD
I stamped the penguin onto a piece of colouring card and die cut into a circle. The stamp was coloured using Copic pens and glued to a deep red scalloped circle. The topper was glued flat on top of the snowflake. To finish the card I added glitter to the mug, and red pearls around the snowflake and the mug.

Copic Pens (Black Card)
